I loved every minute of this! As an old Atlanta baseball fan, seeing that bench from AFC conjured up of going to watch games with my dad. So cool to see some behind-the-scenes and getting down onto the field was awesome to see! Sorry we beat the Rays.. :P

When I see that beach it definitely takes me to so many nostalgic places. The first time I went to a game at Turner Field, I kept thinking of how it was so much more comfortable than Atlanta Fulton County Stadium. But now a lot of time has passed. So many players have cone and gone so the nostalgic scenes in my mind come from AFC.

That reminds me of Chief Nocahoma, the Braves' mascot at Atlanta Fulton County Stadium. He had a teepee there. When the Braves hit a homerun, he came out of his teepee and ran around it in a victory dance. He never left the state of Georgia. He died recently. RIP. He really missed doing that for the Braves. But in today's culture, they won't allow it. It makes him sad and it makes me sad too. I'm Irish, Native American. That mascot was so much better than that hideous blooper thing that does nothing, and is just more of an embarrassment.

That's RIGHT, Hank Aaron is the true Home Run champ! Kind of sad that they show more history of him at the Teepee than they do At AmFam Field, given that he played the majority of his career here. Point of note, if anyone is ever in Eau Claire, Wisconsin (a day trip from the Twin Cities), Aaron also played for the Eau Claire Bears, then a minor league farm team for the Boston Braves. There is a nice honor to him outside of Carson Park.

Welcome to Atlanta. I was in the stadium in April 1974 with my family, and we watched Hank Aaron break Babe Ruth's record. The thing I remember the most about that night was the media. I was 9 years old, and I had never seen so many media trucks. Lol. But i do remember Hank Aaron hitting the homerun. He has died, and so has my mom and older sister, and now I am 60 years old. I worked for the Braves as an usher so I could see all of the games for free. Well worth it. My mom did live long enough that I got to watch the Braves win the World Series 2021 with her. You’ll have a new baseball stadium to visit in Vegas for the Oakland A’s in a couple years.

Adam I remember you did a Vlog when you went to dodgers against the Angels and you were on the rooftop level I believe you’re trying to get a dodger dog, and the guy ran on the field and the ball girl tackled him or pushed him you were like go go go go 😆 classic

Glad you’re finally back at Truist after all these years! Been waiting on this. Sad we never got a chance to cross paths!

Is this a fairly easy area to navigate if you want to come in for a game? Looks like there are hotels all right there by the park. Have considered catching a Phils game there in the past.

That is not an air conditioning unit. It is a chilled water cooling tower.

Hope you are going to Target Field at the beginning of next week. Very nice stadium. If you do, you gotta try Tony O's Cuban sandwich. Hopefully weather holds though.

I think the Rays are at least doing better than the Angels, record wise. Nice tour of the park. More than a few guys are struggling with hitting this year!

Hey! Welcome to town!! You should check out a United match while you are here. They are terrible this year, but it's a fun time.

Great video Adam. I’m a huge Braves fan and I’m going to Atlanta for a game. I’m curious are there good hotels close to the stadium? If you don’t mind me asking, which one did you choose?
