I applaud these women who have the guts to lop off their long hair for more stylish and flattering looks. Too many women hide behind their long hair not realizing it ages them and in many cases, just does not make them look good. With a few exceptions, these women look stunning afterwards.
I totally agree, my hair is long and I get it trimmed so it can keep growing. I saw this video and I got kind of mad, lol. The haircut they give these women reminds me of the movie "You Don't Mess With the Zohan" I guess these women want short hair but that haircut in my opinion is ugly.
Of course we don’t know if that was their choice going in, but not everyone’s hair is suited for a side swept Bob. Those with curl and texture are going to have to spend sooo much time getting that smooth, straight look on a daily. There was at least one guy that worked the curl for the girl. I have natural spiral curls and length above the collar bone gives me no choice but to have to spend way to much time smoothing and straightening it so it doesn’t look like an unattractive curly T-Pee shape. While all these ladies look great I think the “chop” is the stylist easy way out to have the client leave with an obvious precision styled look. There’s no thought to the upkeep and ability for the client to recreate the look at home.
Long hair is sexy in my opinion, ive dyed my hair over the yrs but have finally let it all grow out,my hair is over my bum and super healthy & shiny i have an oval face and think long hair suits me best

I hate these haircuts bc unless these women do a blowout each day this will be the last time it will look like that. Ear length blunt bobs are usually very common among middle aged women. More than half of these women would have looked amazing with a layered shoulder length, high volume style with structured bayalage or lowlights plus face framing highlights. Instead it seems they got the "I give up" style.
Everyone gets the same haircut. Come in with long hair… go out with same short haircut styled slightly different. Everyone will know exactly where you got your hair done. Great showmanship though.

Honestly the very long hair to bob transformation is lazy and boring imo. Hair extensions are a booming industry for a reason, why not shape up that long hair with some 90's glam layers instead of always going for the most 'dramatic' loss of length
