Hi Ryan! Really enjoyed your video, keep them coming! I made your hanger device (borrowed the hanger from my wife’s closet) works perfectly!! I almost bought the ORIGINAL HANGER, but no need to now! Thank you! I’m 71 years old, 7.2 handicap, play 3 times a week on the UNM Championship golf course. I still play from the white tee’s and I use Srixon Q-Star golf balls, so if I win I would enjoy the most comparable Vice ball. Very much appreciated. Terry
@@jeremiahkc1lda816 stay tuned for a video I am releasing in February! I have 5 things beginner golfers should do in their first season! Good luck in the giveaway, I am partial to the green ones too!
@Projectgolfmatthewryan Right now I need to figure out a way to get my swing more consistent. I have a basic sim setup in my garage. I usually get my swing figured out after around 60-80 shots and I'll try to put in 100 shots minimum with each session. Problem is, the next time I go back with the same club, I forgot how I was doing it before. One day, my 7i will be 200 yard carry average and a week later it will be 170 yards.
I think that is a common occurrence with most golfers when they start. maybe not that 200 yard 7 iron which is quite an accomplishment, but the inconsistency. I think that is due to not knowing what to focus on. I recently decided to do lessons and the one thing I took away from in is that he gave me a direction to go and something to focus on and that has made me more consistent in training and strikes. You don't need to go get a lesson to do that, just video your swing find something that you want to fix and focus on that for at least a month or 2 and then find something else to fix. I can say having and expert tell you was a game changer though.
Great DIY idea! As a high school golf coach with a very limited budget, I am always looking for ways to DIY golf training aids. I look forward to seeing what other ideas you come up with. My Vice ball of choice is the Vice Pro.
@@atm7819 that's awesome, you can get the team involved and help you make them! Good luck with the giveaway, and good luck with your golf team this year!
What timing. I was just about to pull the trigger on buying one but came across your video. Definitely going to give it a try. The Vice Pro Air Drip is my fave.
Nice video. Combines two passions, DIY and golf improvement. I like vice pro air in neon drip for when I inevitably pull my tee shot where the range balls are on the first hole and have to differentiate it from them, lol.
@@l0rdkeithingt0n Thank you! And you are right I love DIYing, and I think I am addicted to golf! I hear ya on choosing a different ball so you can find it quickly and know it's yours, good luck!
Yep! I was thinking of that too, it would just be harder to store or travel to the range because it wouldn't fit in your bag. But if you have a SIM set up or a net at home it would work.
@@Projectgolfmatthewryan I have a net ....I was thinking along the lines of putting on when at the range then alternating clubs .I have seen someone using a hanger before but they just aligned with grip and held it so not as stable....like your idea....👍
@ronmullard5718 Oh I see, yeah that would be a great idea, one club to get the feels, and then the second to see if you can do it without it. And thank you!

Thank you, I also do the green ones to quickly see if it is my ball or not when I hit it in the trees or rough lol.
vice pro. thanks for the diy hack.
no problem, stay tuned for my next video, it is something to help with putting that is basically free! Good luck on the giveaway!
An idea might be to have an old club with hanger on so you don't have to keep putting on and taking off...

Wally Armstrong drill/hack from 30 years ago!
Goes to show, you don't need the new, expensive thing to get better.
Prefer the 4 piece Vice ball. It is a little harder and it spins more
Awesome good luck with the giveaway!
