Pay extra attention to his backhand top spin. I notice kreanga strokes the ball more on his left shoulder high spot rather than stroke the ball in front of his stomach or chest area. I am not talking about his backhand block or backhand counterhit, but on his backhand top spin, his method of whipping the ball coming from the side of his left shoulder rather than from his chest is different from most of table tennis lessons that you can find today. I wonder if someone can write a comparison.
I noticed the same thing. At the start of his backhand stroke, he positions the paddle closer to his left shoulder rather than in front of his stomach. This adjustment allows him to extend his swing further, moving both from left to right and forward: The stroke moves horizontally across the body (left to right) while also driving the paddle forward. This combination creates more momentum. As a result, he generates more power and adds greater topspin to his shots.
This is an incredibly generous training video - particularly helpful for the learner of Kreanga's awesome techniques. Does anyone know of videos of such depth on the top Chinese players? Thanks in advance for such links!
The fysiotherapist should get to know triggerpoint -massage, not only the shoulder, which is the sore spot, but also the backmuscles ,the triceps and several other, than kalinikos will have less trouble.
if he is standing in the correct position, he wouldnt need to lean over to block with his b/h, when his training partner misplace the ball slightly away from his b/h, he should move across as a good habit instead of reaching over.To play a correct b/h block, your body should always be behind the ball. therefore when you miss a shot, the ball should hit your stomach.
Min 31 all wrong serves, he is hiding the ball with the head and the shoulder, even in the cameraangle, the player is even more on the right, so he didnt see the ball all the time while serving, so incorrect serve
Kreanga has one of the BEST backhand's EVER!!!
Maaan I keep coming back to this video just to learn. That backhand form is just beautiful.
Alexis ZIKRIA, cette vidéo date de 2012 et je la redécouvre, je tenais à vous remercier pour cette excellente initiative pour ce grand joueur.
My favourite table tennis player :)
Endless energy from this talent player
51:52 translation to english "Im afraid get out of there, I wanna play down the line" and then nods/laughs when the coach puts his glasses on

thanks great audio
Thanks for the video! I am about the same age as Kreanga and it motivates me to play hard no matter how old I am....:)
54:30 Wanna make some multiball training with Kreanga? Better put on your protecting glasses.
Still a very brave trainer - no helmet. LOL
Kreanga definitely rips his shoulder muscles after these training sessions. I can't imagine it helping in the long term
I love this Style , I See me on my best Time with TTC Seeth - Ekholt Germany

Yes I know that.No argue about that.I just wanted to mention that he's Romanian not Greek.
47:27 robo-pong
γιατι δεν ακουγεται ο καλινικος οταν μιλαει? /why we cannot hear kalinikos when he's speaking?
yes but he came in Greece at the age of 17, he has 23 years here so he plays for national greek team
And who is his trainer? He lloks like a good player, too. Even if his "sound" is a bit disturbing.
......yes....yes indeed
he is one of the oldest top players now, i belive he's exactly 40 years old now
If I could hit that backhand I would try to do that every point

its a gymnastic rope , for better playing
Nice Rolex, Kalinikos.
13:51 dhmhtrhs papadhmtrioy A great Greek players of the National Team Member
Actually his real name is Calin creanga and he's romanian by birth.
superstea If he wanted to be called Romanian he would play for your national team. So he is Hellene :/ !!
so I need a personal physical therapist after every training section.... fuck
ειναι στο ΣΕΦ
Só eu de Br kkkk
I want to know the name of that giant absolute unit of a coach he was training at the second part.
George Karitsas
Αν και 40 παραμένει παικτρονι και τουμπανι
he looks so old!
Εκρηκτικό Backhand , ρίχνει ρουκέττες
athens,greece
my arm will fall off doing that :P
I don't like his forehand, but his backhand is beastly.

You would be right if you didn't tel this to kreanga
kreanga, the ball goes fast, but there is no power !!
I can't recognize Kreanga when he's not wearing his headband.
i got tired from watching him.
lol what? You need footwork for such repetitive same position ball training?
Min 31 all wrong serves, he is hiding the ball with the head and the shoulder, even in the cameraangle, the player is even more on the right, so he didnt see the ball all the time while serving, so incorrect serve
i dont like the way kreanga blocks with his b/h, no footwork what so ever, leaning his body over to block instead of moving his feet.
