2 things that will never happen..... FSU getting rid of the Seminole/tomahawk chop and ND getting rid of the leprechaun
And, ND not playing Navy. During WWII ND was in financial dire straits; near closing its doors. Due to an officers shortage the USN put an officers training program at ND which allowed it to survive, then prosper. In recognition of this ND will always play the USNA in appreciation.
@@Dk-qf1xr unless FSU breaks relations with the seminole tribe, it isnt going anywhere. the university works really closely with the tribe
@@rarecandy3445 and the Braves work closely with the Cherokee and surrounding tribes in GA but you see how that played out
@@jacobsmith5510 i actually dont care about the braves or your opinion on them, mostly because there was never any “closely working together” as made evident by the tribes and the national congress of american indians made multiple statements that they werent working closely together and that the caricature of the braves and the tomahawk chop was degrading to them because its seen as a representative of a non-existent monolitic amerindian culture. the braves are a baseball franchise which is a strictly athletic entertainment entity.
the key differences people like you willingly overlook is that FSU is an educational institution that pays the seminoles as well as offers tribal members subsidized education in exchange for their *accurate* representation of seminole culture, right down to their regalia used for their mascot osceola and renegade, mutual hosting of seminole rituals, dances, school events. they offer seminole historical education courses for all students. there is nothing FSU does in relation to the seminole tribe without exclusive permission from tribal leaders. FSU has essentially helped preserve seminole culture.
so no i dont see your point or your argument. ATL braves or U of I fighting illini, its all the same until they step up and help like FSU does.
It never ceases to amaze me the number of people that can't do simple tasks in rhythm...
I know this was a timing mistake but them coming out to the warchant is dope!
I wish I had gone. It looks like it had the energy of the powerhouse games of years past.
FUCKING CHILLS. I’m a 3rd year student and this atmosphere was wild
That's amazing! I'm trying to graduate from TCC pretty soon, and transfer to FSU to complete my collegiate education!
@@shanekeenaNYC Got lots of friends from TCC. Good luck to you and go noles! 👍🏻
It was my first semester here and not even the Miami game felt like this
One of the greatest college football games I ever watched. As a ND fan I had more anxiety about losing this game then against #1 Clemson
This was my first game as a freshman and this is definitely one of the better atmospheres I felt in the last couple years I’ve gone too now
@@mattperry5789absolutely wild I was front row in the student section where the players jump up into
Such a great game, Noles deserved this win but man what a game. That chant gives chills everytime!
Hey, Irish fan here, #%!@#*$& our ticket holders!
But kudos to FSU fans for coming 1,000 miles to support your team! (And the frickin' War Chant is awesome.)
after that game bro i can finally say this might be our season. praying and working to hopefully be on the field in the garnet and gold one day
We will see. Still tons of issues on the OL so bleeding will continue there. Discipline, lack of drama/penalties are all good signs.
🤠
I can't wait to do our hand signals and SCREAM!!!!
I was there. It was electric.
Wait til THIS YEAR!
they do it better then braves an chiefs
FSU were the ones that started the iconic chant, the Braves only took it and made it popular because Braves legend Deion Sanders was a FSU alumni
The Atlanta Bravos war chant. Can Atlanta win the title tomorrow? Or does Houston realise their season will reach the limit Wednesday?
Fsu did the war chant first dumbass🤣🤣. It's florida states not Atlantas do yo research kid
@@paulnguyen8910 fsu have won the chip 3 times. Also out of 130 teams, not just 30
I want to see a Leprechaun on a rocking horse. From Australia. I feel sorry for the horse
the braves atlanta were the first in doing that decada 90s
Are they trying to cancel your tomahawk chop too?
No fsu started it and are paying whatever tribe it is for rights
UM vs FSU. See ya Saturday🙌🙌🙌🙌
@@shanekeenaNYCall jokes aside, that was the best game experience I’ve ever had. Wish we won but sheesh, I’m still processing the whole experience
I was at this game as a Clemson fan lmao. Its also funny how many games they boo their opponents but lose lol
Talk about having little brother syndrome. Y’all are still losing the series to FSU when they’ve been doo doo
@@mitchpeterson2158 stay mad bozo. You constantly get mopped by us and other teams as well. Also imagine losing to Jacksonville state😹🤡🤡
@@crypt_yt9328 Little brother comeback as well. Imagine trailing FSU in pretty much every accolade imaginable when y’all started playing football 4 decades before FSU. Catch up 😁
Thanks for coming to our stadium, apparently for no reason at all other than to post about it later. Lmao indeed.
@@crypt_yt9328 bro u can’t be talkin when ur team almost lost to FSU 🙄
Chiefs are technically not supposed to do it, but we still do. Ftw.
I heard that the tomahawk chop is offensive, why can THEY use it here?
Because we have an agreement with the seminole tribe of Florida and share a not insignificant amount of resources between each other.
Almost as good as Jump around at Camp Randall.
Better. Ours is an actual, original thing. You outsourced your tradition.
As an Irish fan I want these two teams to play every year
As an FSU fan, I love to see Notre Dame and FSU play every year as well. Both schools need to make that happen
