2020 speaking. The park gave the ride a long overdue overhaul. It's smoother than ever now. And the second drop at the back row is just insane. Nice ejector-airtime. Riding the loop with just a lap bar is also great! According to internal sources the coaster will at least stay for the next 5 years!
I've ridden this coaster probably more than 100 times, with "Crazy Mine" (A really fast and painful Wild Mouse/left Model) and "Royal Scotsman" (former: Rasender Roland, a Vekoma Junior Coaster) they are my absolute favorites at Hansa-Park in Germany, because they are old and clonky and really fun! As the description says, Nessie is one of Schwarzkopfs oldest coasters in Europe, and that old lady sure is fierce and powerful! AND LOUD!
Good old Schwarzkopf-classic! I hope the old lady will operate longer than Thunderloop. It seems that Slagharen wants to shut it down in the next few years!
I remember this one from when I was a kid in the 80s... first year I was down there, I couldn't go. But when I finally did.... scared the living daylights out of me the first time. And from then one.... "more... MORE..." :-)
Das war meine erste Achterbahn im Leben danach sofort der Kärnan habe um mein Leben geschrien am Ende bin ich nochmal nessie gefahren und mich gefragt warum ich überhaupt geschrien habe
Wow. This old single-looper's about as rickety as they come, isn't it?! And - no surprises here - there are only 4 people waiting to get on it. Time to raze & replace...
+Bob Schneider it's not any longer the most frequented ride, because they built two large coasters a few years back. The park seems kind of empty in the video, too. IMHO it's a good entry-level coaster.

Sounds like a piece of crap
Kevin Thompson
It was a really good ride actually
Ich liebe Nessie😍
Ich auch
My Favorite Coaster @ Hansa Park :3 My First Ride with Nessie was 10 Years ago
The moment of ejector airtime in the back seat on the second drop tower tho.
Parks in Europe are so beautiful. I would never want to leave lol. Riding through trees and shit.

It's so much fun :D
Mikkel Nikolajsen Yeeeees
Well, it certainly sounds old.
Trust me. Its safe
Was it the now defunct Thunder Loop in Slagharen, the oldest schwarzkopf in europe?
now it is 43 years old :O
will you get back at hansa-park when Der Schwur des Kärnan is ready?
Is this a looping star coaster
Coaster Prime No
What model is this coaster
Coaster Prime It's a Schwarzkopf custom looping coaster designed specifically for the park.
***** It will fail when I'm riding it... they all do that.
No they don't....
Is it description answer thunder loop at attractiepark slagharen?
rcsinger17 Yes
***** that rollercoaster is currently closed he did not pass the safety inspection.
Sanderr1103 We rode it during the summer.
***** the inspection was in Oktober/November
Why do they call it a superrollercoaster
+Zachary Patton I guess in 1980 it was a superrollercoaster
The track looks very underengineered by today's standards. Those tall supports with no angle bracing are a trip.
+Docktor Jim This coaster is 30 years old or older... i live near this park :D and i know everything about it xD
+WeedDesignZ Except it's exact age.
It was Build in the mid 80's and the drop was high for that time
Kommste aus Neustadt?
ich liebe es es ist so gut
Is it Enigma at Pleasurewood Hills?
William Tiley Afraid not. Enigma was at Funland Park in Kent from 1990-1995, so it's only been at Pleasurewood Hills for 20 years.
Dangit. I knew that wasn't quite right.
Sounds like it's going to fall apart any second that would be bad...
That click click cklick sound is normal on such old Coasters. I rided it > 50 times That's what it makes it charming. The ruthness.
Yeah I Know right? The company went out of business parts have got to be rare and expensive
I think Maurer supplies the spare parts for old Schwarzkopf roller coasters today.
1:34 Well, that's gotta scare the crap out of someone.
Das war meine erste Achterbahn im Leben danach sofort der Kärnan habe um mein Leben geschrien am Ende bin ich nochmal nessie gefahren und mich gefragt warum ich überhaupt geschrien habe
Super.
too bad they ruined the view with that junior coaster through the loop

It's all about the time you enter the Hansa-Park. As a teen I had several "season Tickets" and I got there by bike
