@@ospiritti think its bad because of ash, in case of ashing monster card you have a body on field to summon link 2 with normal summon in case with field spell its just -1 card trade

Sometimes, it doesn't give me the effect at all. It does when I'm going 2nd but when I'm going first sometimes it doesn't do anything at all.
It is important in some situations, especially with a brick it comes into play and helps you do full combos. and with monkeyboard it's a one card combo

Selene is used because of iris search, and spright is used to summon lvl2 tuner from grave to summon baronne

I completely understand you. Unfortunately, Yugioh is developing in the wrong direction.
The reality is : Many decks won't even be competitive of they couldn't summon barrone.
