I was thinking about doing it like that but I couldn't figure out how to wire it like that. The switch only has 2 wires going to the motor and 2 wires that go to the power. I have 2 wires that come from the battery to the speed controller,and then 2 wires to the switch,and then 2 wires to the motor. Maybe I need a jumper in there somewhere,but I haven't figure that out yet.
look into a joystick 2 position switch on ebay it returns to center or anyway you want to order them 4 way 2 way ect .thanks for video

what is the amp output of your saw charging system? if it is only 15 amp you will drain your battery
It's 17 amps.
I also have a deep cycle battery that I'm using on the sawmill.
Whats the power of the motor ? [W]
it can be done you just have to watch the switch arc between the posts or you will burn out your pwm

now try to run the saw back at full speed without the pwm inline on the rev side only
