Here's one of the more popular Junior Arcade games. You are Spy Fox on his vehicle, which transforms according to the scenery. You have to pick up all the (good) cheese you can, while avoiding the obstacles and taking out goons. There are four different sceneries, and they actually change up the obstacles instead of just looking different. Also, I don't know how many of you realized this, but the music here has the strangest pattern I've ever seen; the music doesn't begin to change until Level 7, and then it starts changing every five levels after that! I also cut deaths, as I found they added too much time. I normally try to avoid editing, but here I thought it would make this too boring if I didn't. I don't know if you noticed, but I tend to be a bit risky with the cheese, trying to go for as much as I can. This sometimes leads to death, however.
This is a decently enjoyable game. I liked how it got frantic in the later levels, where there were few sections where you didn't have to do much. The levels were also cleverly designed, and there was a good amount of strategy involved, like asking whether you should take the safe path or the cheesy path. However, I do have several complaints with it. First, they were WAY too generous on extra lives. I mean, to say the least it's not like Water Worries where it's pretty much impossible to die, but the fact I ended this walkthrough on more than 100 lives should tell you something. Also, it felt like death was caused way too often because of hitting several "spin-out" obstacles at a time, causing Spy Fox to go flying into a deadly obstacle. It's still a decent game though. It's not the best Junior Arcade game, but it's still worthwhile. I also like how the ending is deserving instead of a rushed one that seems like it's there to laugh at your face.
Also, you might be tempted to compare my score to brends11, but it's kind of unfair to do that here. If you keep dying, your score will keep racking up, so on some levels you can farm for points. - Ігри
I really loved this game as a kid, and building/playing custom levels (as limited as the editor is) was huge fun. Looking back, though, this game is about twice as long as it should be, and I'm surprised I had the patience to finish all 100 levels back in the day.
I don't even think I got through every level of this. I think I got bored and would quit
I remember when I first beat this game... I celebrated with a cheese sandwich for dinner.
SO much frustration as a kid playing this wonderful (but aggravating) game!
AGenericAccount I never made it passed level 2... All because at some point I LOST the disc.
AGenericAccount levels 75 and 91 were just annoying.
This was one of my favorite games growing up. I played this game a lot over the years, and still frequently replay it as an adult. It's so charming. I hope that someday ScummVM will be able to show all the animations, like what we see here. It's missing quite a few of them, which are all part of the game's charm, but it's playable despite that. Good stuff!
Bob Zenk's voice for Spy Fox sounds far different there than it did in Dry Cereal.
Still sounds familiar
All but one song is from Dry Cereal, they based this game very much off it due to Blue and the amazing music.
Russian blue is purrfectly beautiful
So my nostalgia. Humongous entertainment brought me so much joy as a kid
Same with me
Definitely a company that I have a lot of gratitude for. I spent so much time playing their games and replaying them.
Thanks for uploading this on UA-cam. I played "SPY Fox In Cheese Chase" before and it's a really game. I have it on the computer. The junior arcade games from Humongous
Entertainment are awesome.
Hey, it's like "Back to the Future" on NES, but it's actually good.
I'm going to buy this game. It was one of the funnest games from my childhood.
20 years later, only then did I knew that you can fire rocket(?) in this game.
I still remember all the levels lol
@Anthonyg3281 A little fun fact about that, actually - they're all sounds from the "Pinball" game from Putt-Putt Joins the Parade and Putt-Putt & Fatty Bear's Activity Pack.
Omg my childhood!!!
@Legend Corbin ew
"Fuck, it's that bastard Spy Fox again! You'll never fuckin' take me alive!"
...this was made between the first and second...not to mention it's also supposed to be a spin-off and not part of the main series...

This game looks really fun! I never got to play any Spy Fox arcades as a kid.
Always had trouble with this game because I'm colourblind and it can be very hard to tell the green and yellow cheese apart haha
Oh my gosh I can't believe I finally found someone who also had the same problem.
Also I didn't know I was color blind at the time and I never really thought about it I just knew I had a hard time telling them apart.
A few years after I played the game I found out I was colorblind and that's when I realized
@@random-nz7dy ha same for me, didn't know it until a while later
This game is my childhood!!! Best game ever
Hey, Russian Blue, say hi to William the Kid for me. I think he'll enjoy doing the tango on the evil dance nights in the evil villain jail.
You know why didn't she help William break out of jail? I bet the poor goat was feeling betrayed that his right hand gal had just ditched him for her own ways.
You know, Spyfox, real secret agents EXECUTE their targets, to avoid repercussions and retaliation, and they do so in secret. Perhaps you should do the same.
she was my favorite character :/
@@TheRojo387 Executing enemies in a game series targeted towards kids? Yeah no..........
@@chocolatecherrymoo probably because it's too high security. You can't get someone out if the response for a breakout is, quite literally, sending an entire INFANTRY DIVISION, a SOG unit, AND a literal 'oh THAT'S A LOT OF ATTACK HELICOPTERS'...
I beat this game years ago and I don't know if I could do it again.
2:03 technically it's Super Mario Maker (but without Nintendo)
I am freaking PEEINNG right now I was about to go to bed and this game popped in to my head and I honestly thought I dreamed this game but HOLY it was real and I’ve never had such a deep forgotten memory. It’s actually really scary
Lol this game was awesome
Wtf
I have the same game and I have very fond memory's of playing it.
I remember playing this when I was young I dont remember what level I got up to.
I remember having to put this game down for a month solely off of level 75
Russian Blue is one Bad Hello Kitty
Katie Cadet MMMMMMMMMM Cheese!
thats why i love her
I agree with him, without his voice, it's TERRIBLE.
They're still great games, but they are not as magical as the first.
Why are the characters so similar to Sly Cooper? The fox is like Sly, the duck like Bentley and the cat like Carmelita Fox
Wow
In the Humongous Entertainment logo, this is rare.
My childhood in a single video!!! T_T Thanks a lot, I loved this videogame a lot.
elevator music
Spy Fox lives the style of the lift.
@@TheRojo387 that h e entertainment is so funny
@TheZenMovies Yes, but it's not for internet friends usage.
1:54:00 This song reminded me as a normal show on VIDEO Welcome to Pooh Corner, and on VIDEO Dr. Seuss Mr. Brown can Moo, Can you, By 1989, When I was a December 4th, 1989 Normal Baby?
I think this is the first time I’ve seen Spy Fox’s face from the front.
Classic
The Humongous Entertainment logo looks much different in this game.
@HumongousSoundtracks
It would be cool if the Spy Scooter has a police siren in the cutscenes, but not in-game. Have a siren sound from GTA 3 & have police lights on the front & one light hanging on a stick in the back.
Its my special drinking show now.
What is the name of the song at the end credits?
I remember playing this when I was young I dont remember what level I got up to
@freakywitztv
There's also some music from Dry Cereal!
1:54:00 This song reminded me on Enya 1989
Why are the last five levels so much easier than most of them?
Looking at it now, the gameplay almost reminds me of the KND online game Protect and Swerve.
This was 9 years ago-
Final Score: 579,050
Very long game
💖
the acting is so.... CHEESY...... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Your drunk go home!
...you're kidding, right? Was it seriously that different to the point where it ruined the whole game for you? I'm sorry that a tiny difference in pitch killed the entire game.
Man do I want context for this
@@RecklessInternetting the og commenter wad complaining about the voice in the 2nd and 3rd games ruining it for him as it changed between cheese chase and some assembly required. I like both though I think the og one I like a tiny bit more.
I don't know, he kinda sounds the same to me. Voice actors change from time to time. That's what time does. Some actors can't be the same character for the rest of his or her life. They even have to reprise other roles. Or if something happens to the previous actor, someone else has to fill that role.
Says you cut deaths......there's several uncut deaths in the damn video. What a lie!
Nahh, I was exaggerating. Although I stand by what I said about the original voice being the best. I dunno, that kind of thing was really important to me as a 5 year old child, i'm just going on what I remember! I hope I didn't annoy you, whoever you are! Humongous Entertainment played a massive role in my childhood and I'm grateful for their games. Plus the music in Spy Fox is kickass. xxx
All I can say is, thank GOD they got the voice artist from the first game. The second and third games were ruined for me because of the voices.
Funny, I didn't even know there was a voice change until recently, and I'm usually bothered by that kind of thing! Weird.
I HATED THESE KIND OF GAMES.
What ! They had a super duper arcade version of lol the games instead buying the individual ones ! 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
