Re: Birthday Deck - Great Review! Much Better Presentation! I agree that the deck reading simply doesn't work for me either. So I wouldn't say that's a negative for the effect. However ... I do have one small negative I must say. I have Red Hot Prediction and I have not preformed it in public yet because I feel that the act of A0 looking through the deck and B) pulling out 2 (or 3 cards) AFTER they have named their selection is "suspect". BUT in this effect a card is not named. It's their Birth Date. One is still looking through the deck AFTER their Birthday is revealed but it's a little less suspect because now the focus is on their Birthday. So .... I have created a presentation that totally removes that "suspect" step. So, I just added The Birthday Deck to my shopping cart. Thanks Craig :)
THE CALL....Had this for a week, got to be one of the best packet tricks so far this year. I use it with the any card app when I don't have a deck with me, and a great price point.
Great show again. I love "The Call". It's interesting to see Ryland grow so rapidly. He should stop interupting though. To quote Craig "Shut up!" Great dynamics beteween you two.
The Call would be even better if you didnt reveal the card due to the dialing but only the number. That way you get super suspense."i didnt get the card at all, he only said 16 ,... 16... what could that mean?" Deck is on the table. Then add more suspense by the counting, asking what card he could think off and BAMMERSZ reveal. Great trick, ordered it :)
@@magic-tv when I have it I'll try it. It might very well be that revealing the card is stronger, but I'll test it🥰 thanks for the review and I think it's a great effect! If you follow it up by Casablanca by Matt Baker and they happen to think of the nine of diamonds, it would be in the pocket BTW. I don't know, it Might very well be strong as presented (I wouldn't do it in combination with a invisible deck btw), but there is one way to find out (maybe my thinking is too convoluted here, I have to agree the calling of the card is quite direct like "huh how could he know that?")😎
@@magic-tv Hi , i got the effect last week and got to perform it 3 times where i only said the number. The reactions where great, gasps and loud WTFS????? Maybe its true they would say the same if i revealed card and then said number, but i dont think just calling out the stack number lessens the effect in any way. Will continue performing it like this. What a great trick, the principle is NOT obvious imo, it really is not :)
Please review Waynes Exchange 1 or 2. I used to do this while gigging and it was always what everyone spoke about at the end of the night. Not the most magical routine but it used to bring my audience to tears whilst performing. Such a great thought out routine. Maybe not one for Ryland........
You could routine it so that no tables required. The only time you really need a table is laying the three cards down on the table but this could be restructured quite easily
Hi Craig, great reviews as always. I hope it's okay to post here (delete if not) but we have just released the English version of Luis Olmedo's "Pygmalion" project which contains "Canvas" as well as eight other routines. www.theimpossibleco.com/product/pygmalion/

The boy's a prodigy. I couldn't have coordinated the steps leading to the revelation. And on video.
Craig, what are the measurements of The Call gimmicks? Does it block the camera when you have it in the back of your phone case?
Does b day deck absolutely need a table?

I really like your reviews, but it is very irritating when your son interrupts you all the time. Sorry
