I’ve said it before, your pan those eyeshadows videos are my favourite and I’m so happy you keep making them! If High Strung was still available I would have bought a new one, my old one looked good in swatches still, but on my eyes it didn’t come across as shinty as it did when it wasn’t years old.
I totally understand! It’s such a beautiful, unique neutral shade ✨ There has got to be something similar to it out there though! I think mine has become a bit of a softer metallic recently too now that you mention it. It used to look more foiled!
@@RebeccaMorgan exactly! While the shade seems quite generic the ones I have been using instead pull more warm toned on my skin than High Strung did. You have to let us know if you have a good dupe 👍
I decided to challenge myself to use that shade 5 different ways this past week! If you are on Instagram, I highly recommend you check out my 5 Day Challenge stories highlight to see some of the ways I’ve been using that shadow so far 🥰 ✨
I love pan those eyeshadows and so happy I get to follow along with you for another year! I’d place the green on my lower lash, the first shade in my crease. The one you chose all over the lid and cpop on the inner corner.
I love your eye look in this video. I think you could use the pink matte shade in the crease, the grungy green color in the outer and inner corner, the pink shimmer shade on the lid, and the hocus pocus shade on the inner corner. I'm not sure and it might clash, but that could be a pretty halo eye look :). And if the lid shade is too deep with that pinky shimmer, I think you could lightly tap the champagne color from the hocus pocus palette on the center of the eyes too! I wish you the best on hitting pan on these shades. You got this!
At least on camera I like the 4 colors you swatched on your hand together. I like the pinky peach and the black widow together. I love a peach or pink with a dirty green shadow. Cant wait to see what you do..
As a brown eyed gal I find purple/mauve eyeliners (if you have any) pair really well with any of those shades. Even if you were to just wear them on their own you can pull it off with a purple/violet/blue eyeliner for contrast just to get more use out of your collection. And if you don’t have any of those colors go for black- it’s still Winter and you can get away with a smokey colored eye look. All the best to you in 2023 Rebecca!! 🎉❤
I love the colour of Black Widow but never end up using it because of the texture, I find it almost sticky. Could you maybe do a GRWM using it to demonstrate workable ways to use it? Excited for this project!
Yeah it is a challenging texture, hence why I have never really used it either! Definitely looking forward to playing around with it & hopefully figuring out a way I really can make it work!
I love the look! And I think you pulled some beautiful colours, even if they aren't really 'connected'. I am fairly new to your channel and some of your older videos have inspired me to do my own Pan Those Eyeshadows this year. I randomised 4 (2 of which look nearly identical) and chose one that complement my pan that palette (Too Faced Gingerbread Extra Spicy). These are my pan those shadows: Elf Bite Size Eyeshadow in Berry Bad: #1 and #3 Colourpop Give it to me straight: Forthright ABH Softglam: Cyprus Umber Urban Decay Born to Run: Big Sky
So exciting you are doing your own Pan Those Eyeshadows! I know a lot of people set a rule to not have duplicate/super similar shadows in the project at the same time, so maybe you could roll one of those identical shadows to get more variety instead! Your focus shadows sound like a really fun colour palette!!
Black Widow is my favourite shade in the Melt palette! I find using a finger is best. I also love to smoke it out around the bottom lash line. It’s the lushest one and done grunge look for me! Good luck in your pan those eyeshadows project! These are my all time favourite, not so much for the pan, but it is so cool seeing someone get to know each of their eyeshadows so intently!
Your colour story is very unique and I think its neutral enough that you can easily pair it with many other things. I think the silver could definitely be a darkhorse as it can go with so many things!
I'm doing my first ever pan those shadows this year too! (I'm going more for a usage goal of 10 uses in each period with 6 shades in at a time, which feels fair since I know I'll get bored too fast and bail if I try to force myself to leave them in long enough to truly hit pan lol) I was actually surprised at just how cohesive my 6 shades were for being chosen at random!
Setting a usage goal is a great idea! That way you can still get good use out of a shade and play around with it and then rotate through more of your collection. I hope you have fun with pan those eyeshadows this year! Good luck ☺️
I am doing this project this year but have been focussing more on one of my focus palettes so far as I am close to hitting pan in a number of shades in it

I like the shades. Maybe you can do a garden look with the green and pink shades
Yesss 🥰
I've been working on a silver for what feels like a million years so I'm really excited to get inspired by what you do with the silver you rolled!! 💖

The first and fourth shades remind me so much of the pinky shades from ABH Sultry. The colors from that palette paired together are beautiful.
Wow they do have a vibe very similar to ABH Sultry! Even the silver adds to that vibe too! 💖
@@RebeccaMorgan I didn’t even think about the silver!
Love watching your pan those eyeshadows series. So excited to follow along this year, too! 🥰
Ouuuu so excited!! Thanks so much for watching 🥰
Ok I actually think you chose the perfect shade to go with the randoms! I could see a lot of beautiful looks using these :)
Awe thank you! I’ve been loving using them all together so far!

LOVE this eyeshadow look!! And I'm looking forward to your pan those eyeshadows updates this year 😍
Thank you!!

Yeah they seem work really well together! Especially that green & pink 💖 Thanks for watching!

Great suggestions, thank you so much Zari!! 🥰
Black Widow is going to suit you so well! Can’t wait to see it on you.
Awe thank you!!

Ridiculously excited to see you post this! Love the colour story, you always rise to the challenge 💚
Thanks so so much Ruth!! 🥰
I like green and pink together! It is pretty for early spring!
I most definitely agree 🌸🌱
I started doing this last year, inspired by you ❤
Awe I’m so happy to hear! I hope you are enjoying this project!

I think for the pink shade you can make more Valentine looks. Valentine season is approaching.
I agree! So perfect for this season!

Such a beautiful one & done shadow! Thanks so so much for watching & being here! 🥰
Fun!
I think you could do some fun pink and green looks
Totally!! 🥰
I hit pan on a colourpop super shock shadow this morning! My first pan of the year 😍
SO exciting!! ✨ Way to go!!
You did well picking your fourth shade!! Can’t wait to see what looks you creat and your progress ❤
Awe thank you!! 🥰
Pull in a deep brown, and this would make a great five-pan IMO! I do love pink and green together, though.
Omg yes that would make an amazing little palette!!
Your makeup today is gorgeous 😍
Thank you 🥰

Yeah the silver is going to be a fun shade to integrate into a bunch of looks! Super excited about it 🥰

Probably the most exciting video for me this year so far! Aaaaaand I absolutely love your eyeshadow look! Greetings, annkat_on_fire :)
Awe why thank you!! 🥰
I would go for pairs of the 4 shades and then on days when I'm feeling sassy id go for a look with all of them like a flower on the stem!
Such a great idea!! They do feel very floral with the green & pink!!
love you 💞💞
I am doing this project this year but have been focussing more on one of my focus palettes so far as I am close to hitting pan in a number of shades in it
So exciting!! Good luck hitting some new pans!!
🙂✨️
Heard melt shadows arent easy to hit pan on
They are! Especially the mattes 😅 I'm in for the long haul with these shadows!
