- I hope the overwhelming theme with my channel is that I have no intention to puff the laundromat business up, or belittle it to hurt competition. It, along with my skill level is what it is. I appreciate all of the wonderful comments, likes and shares that I get on social media. More than anything I hope that you guys at least consider starting a small business, real estate and investing and remember that rarely is this stuff flashy, instead it looks a lot more like hard work.

I had a funny idea: what if there was one of those massage chairs that you put quarters in to to turn on? It would give someone something to do while they wait for their laundry to wash, perhaps it would be an OK additional source of income in the laundromat?

Check out sv3rige. He only eats raw meat as a diet. He ferments meat for months then eats it and claims to get high off it it.

Ok a couple ideas I've said this before but I'd love for you to see it
1. Make it a drop off laundromat its rlly good I see them charge per pound cause some ppl dont have time to wash clothes it's very profitable.
2. I'm pretty sure all ur viewers would love to see you upgrade things it'll be a nice little touch if it's too expensive I completely understand again I'm just watching ur content and I rlly like it
3. Would you mind telling the viewers the locating on the laundromat
4. And finally (ties in with upgrading) add arcade machines not a lot but it rlly does bring in a profit ppl get bored and see it and instantly want to play

you run out of product in your pop machine because you never "fill" it. 1 or 2 cases does not fill it. same with your snack machine in the laudromat
For paperwork and legal sake, I'd put a hard celing on the amount of change you put into your vending and changemaker machines. About $200USD total in quarters for the bill changer, and maybe 100-150 in the other systems. When and IF you get broken into and the machines emptied, you can easily state the amount of coin that was in each machine so it would be a legitmate complaint. Law enforcement and legal frowns on rounding or estimated amounts on their paperwork; It makes it that much more tougher to get things sorted, and delays any reimbursement of lost funds.
I know, this will add to the pain of taking care of the systems, but it does add a layer of legal shielding to your establishment.
How about a total numbers for the whole time you have made since purchasing???

You need to subtract the bills that were exchanged for quarters from the total amount of quarters you made to see how much profit you are making. (Remember to keep the bills you made from other places and the bills you got from the exchange machine separate). It helps with the accounting.

You should be aware of overhead cost like rent, electricity, insurance, repairs, and etc.

Dude I love these vids so much. I am from Australia and I wanted to say keep up the good work. I saw one of your videos in the recommended page and was attached to it. The whole process is satisfying! I am only annoyed at the fact that when the coins are falling into the bucket; could you please move the coins out and spread it across the bottom rather it creating a “coin tower” if you know what I mean.

How it works and what features that are great and bad about it.
I've come across a couple silver quarters and dimes at my work, but mostly I see them in coinstar machines and the like. What I'd love to know is if you come across any dollar coins or if any of your machines take them? I thought I saw a couple in your videos. Personally, I find them more enjoyable to use than dollar bills, namely because I have to fix bill acceptors at work every so often and I enjoy the design of dollar coins more.
On a side note (wait for it...), I wish the one dollar bill had something more significant on the reverse akin to the two dollar bill (get the pun? "Note"! Hahaha...ha.....haha....sorry I'll see myself out)

Get one of those portable digital stereo audio recorders people who deal with sounds effects use, there are lower end models that are not too expensive, and then use them to record the coin sounds separately from a more removed point in the room (or toy with mic positioning to get the best sound) when shooting a video. Use this additional audio stream to mix in with the video/phone audio when editing the video. Should do a better job of capturing the ambiance of the coin clinking sound, which is probably full of sharp transients you don't want to compress too much, lest you kill the airiness that you hear in person.
Its a good gig you have going, but there are way better ones! I make $1500/ Mo off of a single vacant property, no tenants, no maint, no buildings, no B/S, only property taxes at the end of the day with 20-25 year contracts!

You should probably listen to your wife. I personally think your hair looks terrible, but it's probably not worth bothering your wife for. Also it's a good idea not to mess with this Shoenice guy. He's pretty sketchy and you're better off just not dealing with him.
Do yourself a favor, call a professional and get all your machines fixed, nothing worse that machines down, looks bad, makes customers not want to come back, and your losing Income, buckle up and spend some of your UA-cam money, dont be cheap for christ sakes.

Just a heads up. If you are looking for silver quarters, look at the edge. You will see the copper in the non-silver coins. Silver coins look different in the ridges.
Knew a guy who owned a laundromat in Alabama. He used to have trouble with foreign coins in his machines. The coins would jam up is washers. Ever run into this problem?

Went to a laundromat today to wash parkas. We get $1 coins from change machine with quarters. Did not use. Now after posting on their FB page, they tell me machines take $1 coins. All ready for next time with blankets. No indication that washers and dryers would take both. Who knew?
So I've just discovered your channel here in the last week and had not really noticed the leather jacket before but it immediately drew my focus this time. It must be bonded leather? I never figured it for recently manufactured. It struck me as a yard sale find pleather jacket and I wondered if it came from the same yard sale as the glasses. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I also never thought you could make 8K in a down month off quarter collection videos. Any tips for a guy who'd like to make enough money on youtube to pay his poverty level overhead but just isn't very likable?

Just started watching your videos and I've gotten my hands on a few free vending machines doing a building strip out so doing that now. Wear what you want, clothes don't determine wealth or class, some of the wealthiest people I know drive a van and are mostly in dirty tradesman work wear. People seem to think everyone who is a 'wealthy professional' has to wear a suit and tie and it's just simply not true except for those who preach that while selling their books on wealth building. Funny what people's perceptions are.
Why is watching the coin sorting and more counter satisfying? I think it's because I like money.

In 100% honesty, are you hiring? Ive done construction so im a general contractor, i can paint, install flooring, install drywall, install cabinets, ive had experience as a live in general manager at a trailer park in Indiana where i collected rent and did general maintenance around the park. My entire career ive worked for my dads construction company and i dont like the idea of working for a corporation where my work isnt appreciated, and you seem like a really great guy and somebody i would be happy to work for. Hey man you're not a hillbilly you're a flat lander. Us PA neighbors of yours are the hillbillies. At least that's what people seem to call Ohio people around here. I'm actually starting to get inspired to start my own side gig on the side of my trade job because of this channel. We have a garage and I have a hobby of working on cars so I thought I might start flipping cars that are easier to fix so I spend small amounts of time and make a thousand here and there.
Dude ignore your wife and shave your head... she is in denial about both of you getting older. Shave it and I bet she will be fine with it within an hour and if not, it will grow back again ;-)

Something of a long shoot but if you have a community college with Audio Engineering or Audio Tech classes you might ask them if the would be interested in recording the coin and money counter. Someone might think it would be an interesting project.
