I'm glad you're here. I'm stuck in bed for a few weeks! I see by other posts, I'm not the only one whom really gains comfort from you. Thanks Sir Walker! Mr. Walker sir? Sorry I'm a Yank! Lol
Dogs add to the coziness. I always listen a bit at a time if stories don’t fit into what I’m doing. Love the dogs playing. I know they’re having a good time by the noises they make.
Oh Tony you are just the best! This is one of my all time favorites, especially at Christmas. I've had one of those weeks where all seemed to go awry. Now I can get under the covers with the cats , turn out the light and let the stress be washed away by your wonderful voice, Must add it was so nice to listen to and the cats really enjoy your voice as well, they came round as soon as you started.
I grew up visiting Peterborough a lot for its cinema from my home in West Norfolk, its thoroughly East Anglian. Its technically inside of and mostly surrounded by Cambridgeshire, and because in the Middle Ages it was a kind of Free City and this carried over to it getting a cathedral and being its own separate county level council.
oh Tony, your little doggies play fighting sounds hilarious - oh so viscous 😂😂😂 One plus about the short stories is Im still awake to hear your tidbits at the end. That almost never happens. You are so good at story telling you put me right to sleep, which is a huge compliment although it might sound insulting at first. I appreciate your work immensely! Thank you!
Dear Sir, I am truly enjoying your site. Your rambles after your reads are as much fun as the stories you have chosen. Your own stories are quite good as well. Real nails in the slate kind of stuff. Your site has become a favorite. Keep at it, and thank you.
I'm enjoying this story now, it's very calming to my nerves. I can relate to Mr Bachtel; the sleeplessness and the aversion to change, even for the better. For me, worse than elusive slumber or change, is that damned invisible furniture, though unseeable in the night, it makes its presence felt as it assaults one's toes most sadistically.
These tales lull me to sleep, although sometimes they’re so interesting I will listen the following day to hear the conclusion! Thanks for all you do 👻

I'm listening while sewing. I hope your mother is doing okay.
Hahah I also want to hang out with ‘sparkly Emma’. I’ve no idea who this person is, but it’s a great moniker!
Thanks for everything and hope your Mother’s medication gets sorted. Hope you are all able to get some rest during these busy times
