@@___meph___4547 totally agree, boss difficulty depends on the player, I had no problems until owl father and isshin the sword saint (and gyoubou but that's cus he's the first boss)
Wow, I didn't know you could use Mist Raven on the lightning attacks! That's the only way to do the Lightning Reversal without taking damage! Nice!
If you perfectly guard it (deflect) and do the lightning reversal you don’t take damage.
That’s just a cheesy way to do it, deflecting mid air and sending it back won’t cause damage to you either
TheTimestopper it can cause a damage if you did a reversal on it.
Uh not exactly. It's true,Ongbal is perfevtly use the Mist Raven, but the game tell us, "jump up in the moment of Lightning strike, click LMB to reversal the lightning, and I can easy send back perform jumping. Just I can't use the Raven perfect :(
The lightning still does a little damage even if you reverse it perfectly but you might not notice it

sorry but no. the 2 things you need to be good at sekiro is 1 perfect parrying and 2 knowing movesets. other than that the game isnt hard in the slightest. i mean yea it takes a god level of practice to do but thats just practice. only thing that makes these guys difference than us is the wiliness to put said hours into practice. unless you have a disorder that makes it so you cant focus or use a keyboard or control like a normal person then literally every player can do this with time. your just praising someone who practiced for a stupidly long time.

Would honestly like to see some cool enemies too like the bell guy or idk, i like the fights because it turns out so different when you parry only and such. So many details in the actual fight thats why i love sekiro.
A 9 minute long boss fight with 4 phases playing on hard mode, that takes an incredible amount of skill and focus. Most bosses don’t last longer than 2-3 minutes. I’m pretty good at sword saint but I haven’t done a level 1 run yet, impressive man
4:41 I just beat Sekiro Vitality 10 Attack Power 1 No Skill Trees, and my run of this fight just boiled down to me running around that rock on the right for an hour.

@@Frumsl84 if you mist raven without inputting any direction, you teleport above head, and from there you will catch the lightning and then r1 (or lmb on computer) to reverse the lightning back

같은 난이도로 트라이해봐서 이게 얼마나 빡센건지 알아서 진짜 할말이 없네요 ㅋㅋㅋ 한대만 삐끗해도 겐이치로부터 다시해야되서 정말 말도 안되게 엄격한 제한 플레이인데...제가 아는 모든 세키로 영상 중 가장 완벽합니다. 이 장인정신이 느껴지는 영상을 찍기위해 얼마나 고생하셨을지를 생각하면 경외심마저 듭니다. 제한 플레이에 교과서같은 영상이었어요. 제가 본 세키로 고수 플레이 영상중 앞으로도 없을 최고의 영상이었습니다. 멋진 영상 보여주셔서 고맙습니다.
겐이치로 공중 찍기에서도 평타 두대나 치고, 찌르기에서도 평타 두대치는등 모든 패턴에서 최대한 다 때리는거 보고 감탄이 나왔습니다. 2페이즈에 유리사비마루 왜 다 안쓰시지 했는데 3페이즈에 뇌반을 저렇게 안개까마귀로 받기위해서였군요. 저렇게 하면 대미지 없이 안정적으로 뇌반할 수가 있었네요.1페이즈 광역기는 회피하고 때리시던데, 2~3페이즈 창모드일때 광역기는 패링하시는걸로봐선 이건 정면에선 회피가 안되나보죠? 3페이즈 2단 장풍도 앞 회피로 피하고 두번째를 앞에서 패링하고 평타두방이 되는지도 몰랐네요.

2,3페이즈 광역기도 회피가 가능한데 1페와는 다르게 회피후 공격 도중에 가끔 슈아로 씹고 들어오는 패턴이 나와서 그냥 깔끔하게 패링하는걸로 통일 했습니다

Cool to see people still playing this game. Haven't played in awhile since I beat it but I remember this fight for sure. Took me a good 3 hours to beat, one of the most satisfying gaming moments of my life.

Because poison isnt affected by your attack power, not necessary to poison him if you have enough attack power

Amazing! One question: sometimes when I’m doing the Sabimaru combo he’ll jump away and hit me in the middle of it. How do you predict that or stop him from doing it?
Isshin's Jump Away Slash pattern does not come out continuously, but at regular intervals(usually). Keep that in mind and never spam Sabimaru.
옹발이 Ok, thank you. One last question: in Isshin’s first phase, after he deflects you, how do you know if he’s going to do the elbow jab or the underhand sword swipe? Is there a way to predict which one he’s going to do? The reaction time is too small for me and I often end up getting my posture broken by his elbow
Well.. that's not that difficult for me to react. Parry timing is not very different.

This game is so awesomr I still find new ways to deal with bosses i always parried his charged move at 1:46 because i couldnt dodge it sideways at the last moment but a simple step forward would have been enough appearently
I completed a base vitality AP1 run literally just now, and I owe everything to you for showing me lazulite sabimaru works for isshin phase 2. The phase 2 is obscenely difficult to sustain any damage without sabimaru.

“Pitiful grandchild”.. Poor Genichiro was powerless in the end :/, he’s such a pushover. Isshin’s second phase lasted almost 4 minutes, that’s twice as long as Genichiro and longer than a lot of whole boss fights
i think its important to recognize hardship, ongbal is by no means a god. he is flawed and human just like the rest of us. Dont compare yourself with ongbal because you dont know how much he has trained to get to the level he is at or even where he started. im not trying to undermine him in any way, what he is doing with the mechanics, is simply amazing. Im just saying that this kind of skill is EARNED, its not something you're born with.. So if you intend to recreate the things he's doing, you absolutely can, but you gotta focus.

Can i ask why you used sabimaru instead of flame vent? I always felt burn in stronger than poison since it prevents posture recovery.
I know this is a month later, but sabimaru might me for more potential damage potential sense his base attack is 1 so I'm assuming keeping him poison while partying and attack his the best choice possible to be efficient without running the timing of the parrying as posture can be a beneficial thing to have if you'll looking to parry and attack back.

so attack power does actually matter. it does not look like it when fighting mobs and mini boss. and you get used to the damage increase because it change so little everytime i hardly noticed

I've actually beaten the entire game with this self imposed modifier. It is insane. Fights are at least 15min long and must be done flawless. If you block instead of deflect JUST ONCE.... you die.

Amazing. But why use poison over fire? It's a lot faster to light him on fire. Just normal flame burst plus living force.
The great thing about this is I had level 35 attack power and max vitality and it still took me a few hours to beat him yet you beat him in 8 minutes with no upgrades

its kinda sketch but you can get a cheeky hit in on ishins first stage as he does the unblockable thrust at the end of the combo chain, you have to time it just right but you can slap his ass and still get the mikiri counter in time
