After getting the platinum and taking over 200 pictures during my play through, I wonder how much better can they actually make games look in the next gen consoles, this game was stunningly pretty, my wife even stopped to watch some of the time and mentioned how beautiful it was, which is high praise from her.
@@umphreak9999 agreed, seeing all of this moving foliage and falling leaves/petals at 60fps is just astounding to behold, and the 4k resolution of Director's Cut gives one of the most incredibly clean, crisp images I've come across in gaming. The physically based materials on Jin's different armors are absolutely superb!
@@CM8-editor Yeah but before he goes into the grass, you can instantly tell that camera angle is gonna be the angle you play at so you can expect to control Jin after he gets out of the forest
after watching some of these streamers stop in the middle or not seeing the birds fly im so glad I experienced this perfect entry to a video game running all the way through with my horse watching this give me goosebumps over again

Norio and bro, Jin and his horse (Nobu for me) going into act three, Yuriko, Taka etc. I feared the game would be more about fairly generic open world gameplay but the story was fantastic and resonated with me a lot more than something like TLoU2 lol. The scene at the end of act two with Nobu hit me the hardest, especially with that music 😭
Because at first, you didn't have to control the horse yet you could move the camera (which can give someone the impression that they don't have to do anything), but then suddenly-unbeknownst to you-you're in full control. 😅😆
I like how the game makes him stop on top of that small hill though. Makes for a very nicely framed shot even if you do stop running. That had to have been a conscious decision.
I've seen some that right as the music goes calm, they stop moving and rotate the camera around to observe the beauty around them, which I think can also add to the cinematic experience
FF7 has more chances to win than TLOU2. TLOU2 it's too controversial and Geoff doesn't want to make everyone mad. He still wants people to watch the VGAs next year. But in the end Cyberpunk 2077 will win anyway

Side note: Jin, as a protagonist,earned my respect before this scene! Remember he "died" on the beach and was defeated by the Khan a little while ago...
@D J Exellent point! They did a Great job showing just how "human" Jin is. He was racked with guilt for not helping his father and you can clearly see it throughout. And we have all faced some form of regret/guilt at some point in our lives even minor.Then there is the conflict of sticking with the Code or going rogue to fight the Mongols- more internal conflict. Character development is fantastic!

Hey... game devs... this... is how you do an intro. Completely original, and captures the epicness that forever draws a line in the sand. One side being you experienced, vs. others that haven’t.
Those streamers talking over the intro and not taking it in as it was meant are really missing out on an amazing 10-15 seconds experience, especially when they stop the horse
seriously i had to stop and enjoy that intro on my playthrough....I thought the last of us 2 with that horse riding in the sunset was a breath taking intro.... this intro just 1uped it for me..
They see the intro, get goosebumps. Fast forward to the end of the game after they've played everything, and all you need to do is mention Ghost stance, horse, and end choices, and I bet you won't find a dry eye. Not. One.
