- Everyone can now get Verified on Instagram. Meta, the company that owns Facebook and Instagram rolled out a new option called Meta Verified. Let me show you how it works.
The best way to get verified on instagram is by using the Instagram app on iPhone and Android.
Make sure to update your Instagram app first. Then click on the three lines on your profile page.
Here, you’ll see Meta Verified. This is a paid bundle subscription for your Instagram account and Facebook account. There isn’t a free way to get verified anymore. You must be 18 to get verified on instagram. And business accounts also don’t have this option yet.

Can you change your name afterwards they accepted the request ? Or should it always stay? Otherwise badge gone ?

You can not, Ill quote from Instagram... "Make sure your username is what you would like it to be before you apply for a verified badge. Once verified, you may not change the username on you account."
And if you give a false or misleading info, they WILL remove you verified badge and they MAY take additional action to disable your account.

They could have an influencer account, it gives you the same data, but you can't tag your products directly to your catalog

Hey man, I have a question, it's allowing me to get meta verified on my Facebook but not my Instagram, and I'm almost certain it has to due with me not having my real name on my Instagram account/profile. Now, with this being said do I have to add my first and last name somewhere in my Instagram username, or simply the "name" option above that when editing your Instagram profile?
