Hey Guys, long time Sharks fan and absolutely thrilled that our turn has come to have the top pick! I am very pleased with what you are doing Mr. Grier. I think you have done extraordinarily well these last two years dealing with a difficult situation that was the result of pushing year after year to make a push for a cup. I think if you believe in your core players than it is incumbent on the GM to make every effort to bolster that core in order to make a concerted push in the play offs. One of the drawbacks to that however, is that you are most likely going to mortgage your future significantly in pursuit of the now. If you don't believe in your core than it's time to start rebuilding right away and not leveraging the future for the now. I cannot imagine how hard it is for you and your staff to try to hold the course you are steering for and yet satisfy some fans who want success yesterday. Mr. Grier I was so very happy the day you came to San Jose as a player as I always liked your game when you were wearing another sweater and I am so very glad you are here now and I wish you and your staff and your family all the best man in everything you do for us your fans. P.s. I was briefly a teammate of Scott Hannan's his rookie season. Peter St. John Clovis, CA
Let's hope Mike is not as bad as his brother, he's been in charge in Miami since 2016, and zero playoff wins, only a buffoon like Ross would keep him that long, if no playoff win this yr, he has to be canned
too young to start next season or the following one. hope he stays in college another 2 years. don't ruin him just to sell a few trinkets and tickets.take a page from Chicago and draft him but keep in college and tank again for another top pick, he'll need help.
@@3EyedRaider and didn't Bedard get injured last season🤔 When they drafted Toews they kept him in college one more year. Look how good that ended up for the Hawks. Won 3 Cups.
@@geoff3103 Yeah he broke his jaw (which is kinda fluky). I wouldn't be opposed to Macklin marinating for another year but I also wouldn't be surprised if he was active for the Sharks for game 1 though either.
@@3EyedRaider Its EVERYTHING to throw on a kid going to the NHL. Money, travel, work schedule, lifestyle, women, size of players, speed of the game, everything. Only way to cope with all that is have stronger muscles and a more seasoned head on your shoulder. They should let these kids marinate for a few years. Works well for the NBA and NFL, and their stars are known to even non-sports fans.
@@geoff3103 lol you said "women" 😂 but yeah I hear ya. Again I wouldn't be opposed to it, mostly cause the Sharks are still gonna be a bottom tier team next year too.
Huge congrats to all of us, Sharks fans! Go Sharks!!!

Didn't Chicago just put Bedard out there for the entirety of last season 🤔
