Almost 5 years later and this show still isn't the same without her! Hope she comes back one day.

2 years later, and I still feel the sting of her absence. Yes, I'm aware she's a character and it's a show, but..... it's honestly not the same now. Hank and Jay feel so different. Anyone agree??

@@melissamedici4087 The show use to have a bit of humor between the characters - Burgess and Pratt, etc, etc. I don't watch it anymore to be honest, but I streamed Seasons 1-4
from Amazon and I watch and rewatch. Their are so many dynamics missing that really made the show great. I understand why Sophia felt she had to leave, but I really, really miss her on the show.

@@126jimmyj Not exactly. According to S. Bush, someone (she didn't say who) yelled on some occasions. Jason B. came out and admitted to having anger management issues. He went to counseling behind it. From what I've read from the other cast and crew, he couldn't be more pleasant and down to earth.
robinson4979 she also said she was touched inappropriately (it was very clear to the public it was by Jason).
I really don't know how to feel about this, but one thing if for sure, intelligence, this show, and this entire franchise will never be the same without her.

The relationship between Erin and Voight was everything. In the end he protected her once again. The thumb print was the best.

According to something I read, he was involved in a car accident and was incubated for 2 weeks following, that’s what made his voice even raspier. He naturally had a deep voice to begin with.
In some twisted way,that raspiness in his voice is seductive.

Even with Voight around,Erin couldn’t really live her life or do her job because of Bunny,no matter what they did,Bunny got away with everything.

literally just finished reading Sophia Bush confirmation that she in fact in exiting C pd! This some real bull ish! love everything about this show and it definitely helped that Brooke Davis was apart of it! and now it won't be the same! my guess they will big up Burgess next season, and while I absolutely love Burgess, no one can fill in Lindsey shoes or that father daughter dynamic between her and voight, not mention she and Halsted were supposed to be endgame!
This makes me sad because it's not 😪going to be the same without her and she is the best ❤️

After she left, s5 and future seasons had a different kind of dynamic and vibe. I wish her character got some closure with the problems in her life which would've made moving on easier. I guess the writers gave her such an open ending to leave the opportunity open for Sophia to return

This show really broke my heart. Anyway, we should have seen this coming. The very first episode of season 1 had a Jules killed, who was a member of voight's team. It's like we were being told to get ready, anything can happen.
I really liked her with Jay, she was amazing woman ... I know she didn't have much choice and had to leave but... the more I'm watching this episode, the more I see Jay hurt and in pain because she left, the more I really hate her for hurting him so badly... and ending sucks like hell...
Jay had already lost Lindsay by not being honest....he was suppose to tell Lindsay everything
I am really going to Miss the great hauntingly gifted talent and her raspy voice of Ms.Sophia Bush. The show is still a great show however it will not be the same without Ms.Bush great acting talent. I wish her the best in her career and I hope the world gets to see her great talent on the big movie screen she surely has the presence and great acting talent to carry a movie. @@HypocriteHunter666 exactly. I stopped supporting this show (except the old seasons) because of what they did to Sophia. Also, the actress of Julie (forgot her last name) was also harassed, that's why she got written off
I started watching this for Sophia and I learnt to LOVE Erin Lindsay and her beautiful relationship with Hank Voight. I love Voight but Im not watching this show without her, unless they bring another amazing actress that I already like but prob not going to happen.

Although she is just a fictional character and there are like plenty of new characters, I miss Lindsay a lot. I actually think her and Jay could've been endgame instead of Jay and Haley, there was so much chemistry between 2 of them. I'd be more than thrilled to see her character appear at least once more in random episode.

When you spend months hoping Sophia wasn't leaving the show because she was the main reason you watched even though she hasn't been in Chicago since and there have been confirmations she left annnnnd the premiere was tonight and Erin is gone....In such denial over here
4 years later and I still don’t feel like I have closure from her leaving. I know it’s a show and she’s a character but this show was my getaway from my life and reality. I still watch the show and love all of the characters but it definitely doesn’t feel the same without her. This scene gets me every time!🥺
Erin and Voight has a great relationship with one another. I wondered why she didn't answer the phone when Jay called. Great friends . I pray I see all of you in the next season ,not some of you but all of you. Great characters on Chicago PD. I love all them.
Possibly because she didn’t have the heart to say goodbye. Perhaps she knew he was going to propose and couldn’t turn him down. Or she decided to take Voight’s advice to not look back and go to New York
It’s too bad she didn’t stick around. What with the discovery of the body of Voight’s son’s killer that Erin helped dispose of. It woulda made more sense for her to stay & see it through. But I get it though, Sophia Bush didn’t wanna be on the show anymore
Doesn't she take the framed picture of Nadia from her desk when she leaves Hank ? The one that Bunny brought to the unit at the end of season 2 ? It makes her ending even sadder.

Maybe NBC is starting a new show about the Counter Terrorism Unit next season but I'm not sure. Maybe she'll get transferred to the FBI's Chicago office so she can still be with Halstead. Seems like the writers really started to paint her character into a corner until there was no choice for her but to leave the force.

Somehow someone maybe Platt or another force will keep Lindsey. I can't imagine Sophia Bush leaving the show she is too vested. My gut feeling is Linstead will get together and the writers will focus on Upton.
