@ribmonkeyify The fuck, you can take the power if you have a quirk. It's been done before, and nowhere does it say only a quirkless can use it. Also, it ain't about it being ghostrider getting the power, which is incredibly dumb mind you. It's about creativity or the lack there of with these MHA stories.

So theoretically no person with a quirk can take the quirk and live a long life. in conclusion although the quirked can take it they will die earlier

They view it as heroic because it was flashy. Before the hero system got changed, a major of pros care and civilians care about popularity. So the flashier and or stronger the quirk the more popular you or a person will become as a pro.
