I'm still crying. Greatest stage performer, act, singer of all time. There's not a band worth mentioning that she couldn't have fronted. I take comfort in the fact that we still have so much great footage of her performing. That we can visit with her whenever we want. That she will forever live on in our hearts. And I know this: surely God himself met her at the gates of heaven. That he personally brought her across the threshold and escorted her onto his stage and on that day, all of heaven rejoiced and celebrated in her arrival. I will miss her for the rest of my life. Truly, she was an idol and inspiration to me. She gave me countless hours of joy. She lifted me up when I was down. When I was up, she was the soundtrack to the joy in my life. God bless this wonderful lady. Although I was never fortunate enough to meet her in person or to see her live in concert, I feel that she was, nonetheless, my friend. A friend to all that called themselves a fan. Be with The Lord, my love. You were simply the best.

This is an absolutely beautiful tribute to Tina Turner. So many of the artists who knew her talking about their experiences. It's obvious how good friends she was with Bryan Adams. The way he talks about her with humour makes me smile. The Welsh Guards playing, Simply The Best, really got to me too. She had a wonderful husband in Erwin, he must have loved her so much. I just wish she had better health in her later years. A wonderful woman, inside and out. We love you Tina, fly high beautiful lady ❤❤❤

I remember when I was a kid my mom had ran to switch the channel to a special Tina Turner was on bc she loved the way the band would perform. It’s my first memory of Tina since I didn’t see bands DANCE to the beat of what they played. Today, I still enjoy bands who really energize their music with dancing to the beats they orchestrated. Later in my life after seeing the movie how much she endured. It motivated me as a woman to move through the storms of life to get through the journey of life. What an inspiration!
