Resonate

RESONATE is an experimental film that depicts how sound affects the inhabitance of a city. Simone, who acts as a conduit for the audience, guides us through his experience of how sound can agitate or relax-an exposi1onal documentary style to give a brief essence of how sound affects us.
The poetic imagery of London will display how Simone can accept sounds as they arrive without sending them through a hierarchy. Thus, the audience is pushed to question themselves about how open they are to sound.
Knowing that we are screening this film and will have auditory control, we decided to use this to enhance the emotional potency of the film. Using frequencies with specific effects, we will take the audience on an experience that will take them from overwhelmed to focused/open.
