Take a journey through the natural marvels of Lake Jackson’s dry down and return. There is such a rich indigenous history and culture long rooted in the history with the lake.
I had the opportunity to collaborate with my long time friend Susan Anderson who is a Native American Elder and traditional ceremonial person.
I hope you enjoy the film's meditative journey through the natural mysteries and begin to appreciate the powerful connections of the first people of this place with the disappearing waters. Those connections continue and this lake and landscape are held sacred by many to this day.

Ian, a wonderful film that remind me of the documentary I made back in 2016 in Panama, an indigenous tribe (Embera Drua) there are many things we tend to forget in our busy city lives, your film and the narrative transport us to wisdom and real essence of our existence, congrats! I am fan!
