Dance in the Snow was sweet, and was a step up all the way around from last year's autistic child movie (World Record Christmas). Private Princess Christmas was surprising. It was pretty bonkers, and I didn't understand what was supposed to happen with the succession if she failed bootcamp. I had expectations that Sugarplummed was gonna be bonkers, and it delivered and then some. It openly played up the tropes/rules (and the cameos) that's really been themes this season.

Liked Dance in the Snow. Thought it was really sweet. However, the mother at the end, deciding to go to Paris threw me a bit. Even though her daughter is going away for school, if she went to Paris, she would be even further from her daughter, if there was an emergency. I could see after her daughter is established and doing well, but definitely not the first semester. I would want to at least be in the states and able to get to her fairly quickly.
Thought Private Princess Bootcamp was horrible. Terrible acting. I am with you on ASL, different countries have their own sign language. I think a few may use ASL but not many.
Really enjoyed Sugarplummed. Thought it was fun. Definitely one of my favorites for the season.

A Dance in the Snow was good. I didn't see last year's movie dealing with an autistic child so can't compare, but it was good. I did enjoy Private Princess Christmas, but the timing was a bit odd IMO. It seemed like they pushed the misunderstanding moment and reconciliation too close together. Also, whereas some have the almost kisses it seemed like they saved it to the end. I didn't mind it but it was a different route to go. I loved Sugarplummed though. I enjoyed the playing off tropes and as her magic waned things went downhill and went it came back at the end everything fell into place with his boss and the neighbor and all. She was just such a fun character. That montage at the mall was hilarious. I could go on. I do agree though, a movie this good should've been shown earlier. Also, the Touchdown movie has been promoted so much that they made an extended cut. I think The Christmas Quest got a decent amount of promotion but not as much.
