Hey Chris ! Chicano Batman has some very good material, check it out, sometime.. Nice pull on Richard Hell, is that a re press ? Too bad the Mick Ronson is trashed !
Yes, the Richard Hell is a modern reissue on colored vinyl. I've heard the name Chicano Batman but haven't listened to. All the rekkid at that last place were el trasho.
That was actually someone's job that day: stick a $1 tag on each 45. I would just take a sharpie and write '$1.00' on the plastic bin, then go on break! Sometimes the hunt pays off 😎🎶
It's a vendor mall, so that was a choice made by the person that rents that booth. Most other people that sell 45s make better choices, like writing "$1 each" on the box or at least not putting the price tags on the grooves.
@@RekkidTalk Ah, gotcha. We have a few vendor malls here in CT, but I have not been to one in a long time. Might start up again, Chris! All about the hunt....
Putting the price sticker on the grooves! That's a first. On the label is bad enough. Some of those albums looked interesting even if I don't have a clue about who they are. Shoulda grabbed Girls In The Garage! BTW...Betty Lou Gotta New Pair Of Shoes!
Hi Chris!!! Apart from the usual suspects there was a cool Nitro lp, 80's hardrock/glam metal..... is it or you should not put price stickers on the grooves?? cheers and be well
Who in their right mind puts stickers on vinyl? Bad enough the 45s are unsleeved in true American fashion. Always pick up any volume of Girls In The Garage, they are full of cool obscurity.

Haha.. I noticed ! Too bad you missed out on the comp you went back for. I would hunt it down relentlessly, LoL !! 😊
Clever place to put price stickers! Buyers would be happy!
Maybe they are hiding scratches!
@@RekkidTalk Good plan!
Rock of the Westies by Elton John is a good record. 8:20
I noticed Sly. 8:55
You found it.
I think all those rekkids were at some wild parties.

They have big balls charging 3 bucks a piece for those records
Lots of antique mall vendors with massive cojones when it comes to pricing, not just in rekkids!

I was going to note that if someone yelled at me for getting my fingers on the grooves of those records.

Price stickers on the grooves is almost as bad as those wire racks for 7" rekkids that pretty much guarantee that they will be damaged.
Some of those records ya got to wonder who would ever buy them? Crafters maybe?
There should be a time limit on how long a record can remain in a $1 bin before recycling.
Hey, I almost bought that Richard Hell album. I decided not to. Oh well, you can't win them all.
Sorry you missed out on Hell.

Yes, I definitely messed up leaving it behind.
