Just finished it,excellent gameplay, beautiful graphics, characters & story. Naughty dog still does the best cinematic action sequences in all of Gaming!!!
Why everybody is so confused about the length of this game? 6 hours? Is this the main point of the current game industry? Which game is longer? For me, it is more important if the game provides enough fun and good storytelling. And looks like this game deals with this just perfectly.
it's $40 for a 6 hour dlc, that's why it's important. To put it in perspective the blood and wine dlc for witcher was around 30 hours long and that was $25.
zack19192 Fair enough. Blood and Wine is an example of the perfect dlc. And in my country Lost Legacy is about 50$. But I still want to play it. Because it is Naughty Dog and the amount of effort they put into their games is just monstrous. In my opinion it is better to buy Lost Legacy then another COD season pass or sth like that.
Степан Давыдов blood and wine DLC is like 3 times longer and cheaper. In fact everything about it is better. CD Red set the bar really high for quality and value. Im passing on this one even though im a huge UC fan. Ill get it when it's on sale for 15 or less
Daniel Lim I didn't say that this game is better then the Blood and Wine. In fact, I would like Lost Legacy to be 20$ dlc then 40$ game with the multiplayer that I've already had.
@@jjdude00 it took me around 10 hours on my first playthrough. the reviewer completed it in 6 just becuase they probably didn't explore much on the gates section
Top tier graphics Amazing sound and voices Amazing animations Story Chloe's background All this for a Standalone DLC that took about a year to create. Masterpiece!
upthereuc IGN also gave Alien Isolation a 5 for being too hard. They gave Pokemon ORAS a 7.8 for not fundamentally changing the geography of the game (It's s remake if you didn't know). IGN' s reviews are a joke. Since vital people like Jose, Colin, Greg, Audrey, Mitch, and Jared left they're really going downhill. Seem kinda desperate in my opinion. Dan Stapleton in particular seems like an idiotic blowhard
If would of cooler if you were able to switch between them... and they'll give you a choice of with whom to approach.. for example.. Chole tells Nadine to ambush the enemy then give you an option to choose whom to play as, and would also give a lot of replayablitiy with different outcomes and such. Like if you agree XD
So when gamespot gave crash a 6 they were stupid and ign was better. But now that ign gave this game a 7.5, gamespot is better? Just stick with good reviewers like ACG and it'll all be good
Gatsby The Great or just don't listen to reviews since playing games are different for everyone. People being the variable I may be into sports games or adventure games or horror games therefore liking things like FIFA, Uncharted, and Outlast, but you like Action and Racing games like Call of Duty and Forza. It's all opinions so why listen to one who just so happens to have a platform to say it, it may not be suited to your wants. I NEVER listen to a review. If I want a game, I'll get it. Despite the reviews.
Nobody is beating this game in 6 hours unless you are a great speed run player playing on easy. It actually takes about 7 hours and 9 minutes for story, 8 hours and 32 minutes for story and extras, 17 hours for completionist. If you are great player, jack up the difficulty. Plus you have a couple different online multiplayer modes that are done well.
Naughtydog are the only devs I trust to make good games without even having to play it. They've only ever made one bad game, which was their first ever I believe? And ever since then, they've done nothing but deliver epic games such as crash, Jak, uncharted, last of us. Excited to see what they work on next .. (I know this will never happen but a new Jak pls)
Another delay of a "hugely ambitious" game. And here i thought Sony would never end to mismanage their releases this gen... I gotta admit, what little was left of Microsoft's overal game line up was pretty weak up until last E3. But man, M$ blowed even that out of the water, with next to no big exiting reveals and now 3/3 games delayed to next year... I remember the very beginning of this year when Phil tried to damage control the cancellation of Scalebound with his brute PR force that went like "Dont worry, pay attention to our other amazing games due to release this year." And all of them, Crackdown 3, Sea of Thieves and State of Delay 2, are no longer 2017. LOL Halo Wars 2 and Forza 7 is everything coming new from Microsoft this year. What an abysmal offering, even for their weaker standards.
Kratos4ever Damn that's bad didn't know Sea of Thieves and State of Decay 2 got delayed as well are those new announcements along with the Crackdown news or are those old new?
Does my or our PS4('s) need to do that?! What Xbox Microsoft really needs is games and an identity. Not just technical power... The Xbox One X will be a tough sell as it is. Now an even harder one with the delay of Crackdown 3.
Sea of Thieves and State of Decay 2 were already delayed at Micrososft's E3 press conference a good two months ago. They got nothing major left but another Forza for this year. What a pity.
Just finished the game with side missions at 7-8 hours. Really enjoyed it and didnt mind the short lenght of the game. It was so much fun and beautifull. Chloe and Nadine are awesome and im certain the next game will be even better and more epic. Im actually a bigger fan of the couple Chloe and Nadine than Drake and Sam (or Sully). Go ahead shoot me for that.
I love how people measure a games length these days....6 hours long? Is that in cat hours? What game were you playing then? Did you manage to engage in any type of gameplay at all? Did you explore more than the end of your nose? More to the point, did you play it at all? I'm at least 10 hours in and on chapter 8. This game is more than long enough and doesn't feel short at all considering it's a glorified DLC.
SO... IGN give this like 7.5 or something and you guys give it a 9. I'm confused 😂😂😂 Oh wait, no I'm not! IGN are infamous for giving good games shit scores haha.
shawn byers Seems like most people seem to think the review scale's only good scores are 8-10. 7.5/10 isn't a bad score. It's just not an insanely good score.
I personally don't think 6 hours of gameplay is worth $40. We got like 18 hours with Uncharted 4 and that game only cost $20 more. If you divide it by hours to make it even with Uncharted 4, The Lost Legacy should really only cost $20.
what can i say, people say this game is only 6 hours. i can look at the scenery for 6hours lol. if u enjoy the game with all the puzzles, u can stretch this game for a week or 2 . dont just whiz through the story take time to just fool around and look at the environment
Chapter 4 is worth the price alone. Huge open world map that I spent a couple of hours in to just solve the main chapter puzzle that had nothing to do with the main story. Some of the most beautiful settings in the series. Neither Chloe nor Nadine were that likable in their previous appearances in Uncharted (especially Nadine), but the writers did a good job of bouncing them off each other and making them relatable. Good balance of action, exploration, and puzzle-solving. Multiple ways to deal with enemies so you didn't have to go CoD all the time like you did in parts of Uncharted 4. Good way to wrap up Uncharted.
Plathismo I know that's probably not the final battle but the way I'm hoping it goes is the bad guy kills Nadine then Chloe kills bad guy. Then the people who found it unsatisfying that Nadine got no comeuppance in Uncharted 4 will finally have closure and Chloe will still get a happy ending.
Great review. Nice to see that the series still appears to be going strong after Uncharted 4. Would also like to mention that there is a typo in the thumbnail image ("Dyanamic Duo")
Why is everyone complaining about how short it is? It was classified as "DLC" and this game is longer than the first game without being a full price game
I don’t see why this game is so overlooked when it comes to uncharted games Honestly I’d say this and uncharted 4 are the best uncharted games and I kinda prefer lost legacy to 4 just because this game is all killer no filler I can’t wait for this game to get ported to the ps5
I would love to have these two adventurers look more equip with light SWAT gears. I know Nathan and his friend looked like they were vacationing rather than explorers being and looking ill equipped. If it were me in the game, I would have been armed with a vest, gloves, a rambo knife, and of course a gun which is basic equipment.
Ign: 7.5 not an fps arena game Gamespot: 9 amazing characters. Great duo, great story, ranks among the best in the uncharted series. This is what it should of been on ign. Just goes to show you in doesn't care about single player anymore...
Let's remind people it's 40 bucks game not 60 bucks game 40 bucks for a 6hr+ campaign is great and a lot games sell for 60 bucks don't even give you that
I wish people would let go how short it is and realize it is just a dlc. Not yo mention the short time they had to work on it, and still did absolutely amazing. BTW GameSpot waaay better than ign
I seriously hope not. It such a stupid writers trope when it comes to female characters. What? Two men can be friends but two women have to be together because of sexual attraction to each other right?
Just finished my third play through. I didn't play any of the others more than once except 4 which I did on Crushing also. Don't care what the general view is but this was the best in the series to me. One reason alone..... The chemistry and voice acting was superior to what we see with Drake and Sam. I always had an issue with Drake where I think he is just a bit of a prick and hard to like. With this it had loads of little connections between the two that held it all together. Nadine is the nuts and my fave character now. I'd gladly purchase more games with these two involved. Only issues are a couple of glitches which I expect will be fixed. Train ride for example "come on get a move on" being said two hundred times. Or repeated dialogue during the mission collecting the trophies for the monkey bit. Overall the game is a solid 9 and if it was another couple of hours on top I would give the game a 10. I really am impressed with it.
40 bucks seems high for the amount of content. The uncharted series is one of my all time favorites but I think it's going to be easy to wait for a price drop for this one.
what difficulty was the reviewer playing on that he had 40+ silenced pistol rounds? i went straight to crushing and never had more than 7 at a time -_- not hating if he was playing on easy, i understand that he has to finish the game asap to make a review. but jesus i didn't realize the game was being that stingy with me on crushing.
fcukausername lucky this game does not have brutal difficulty its much worse lol 2-3 shots you're dead, enemies deal quadruple damage, and you pick up fuck all ammo lol
Didn't even realise they were making a 5th game till recently just picked it up and started it pretty good so far and nice to take control of another character as opposed to Drake in the first 4 games :)
Call of duty, far cry, assassins creed pumping out games and still have been getting decent scores. Uncharted completely overhauls gameplay with every iteration and people claim it needs to change more. This started as dlc. Its not supposed to be uncharted 5. And it still reinvents 4s gameplay.
If you play this on a harder mode, the way uncharted should be played you should get 10+ hours out of the game. This was played on easy mode for the reviewer. Watched ACG's review, far more comprehensive.
Wow!...awesome review.another great addition to ps4 exclusives...i have both ps4 and Xbox one.I wish Xbox also had some good exclusives.Because I haven't turned on my Xone for weeks.Still 5 days are left for the release😭
To me, this just looks like an extension to an already near-perfect experience. I like how things were left after Uncharted 4. It was very satisfying. This looks exactly the same, except for Nate. I think I'll give it a miss for now, but a significant price drop could sway me.
Bole ZG That's what I hate about reviewers. It's all about the quickest to hit UA-cam. No true game can be reviewed within a day. It's not possible to give a real response. The Witcher 3 for example took me 200 hours on hardest mode (death march). Doing all the brilliant side missions. All the collectibles , all the Witcher gear etc. The full review was up the day it come out. That's not a review. Same with this game. I got it two days ago. I have just finished my third play through. Hard / Crush / Crush mirror with infinite ammo etc. Only now can I say the game is brilliant and give a fair review of it.
Just finished this game I loved it so much it has a very uncharted 2 feel don't pass on it because drake isn't it because this is absolutely a great fun and stunning game loved it for me it was a 9.5/10
Looking forward to finally playing this. I have been for the 3rd time trying to finish Rise of the Tomb Raider. Just don't really care for it. I don't like when action games have generic unnecessary side quest and optional tombs. Along with unnecessary weapon upgrades and stuff . I want that type of stuff from rpgs like the Witcher. What I like out of action games like Uncharted and ROTR is the feel of playing an action movie. I want story and action. Don't care about weapon upgrades, exploration or any of the other things they try to bring from other genres. Just want to be a last action hero bad * lol
Only thing that bothers me in this review is use of nate's theme it just doesn't feel right to use it for this game, but the game is awesome btw, I really enjoy it 😁.
6 hours is a bit of a let down for me :/ I was expecting the 10hrs they claimed At the same time tho you get multiplayer (good if you don't have it) AND Jak+Daxter (preorder). With all that in mind I say $40 is fair; maybe that's just the Jak fan in me tho
What can I say another great exclusive from Sony the game looks beautiful ,plays great naughty dog ur the best!!!!!!!... by the way it's the end of 2017 and if you look down in the comment section there's a lot of Xbox fans here hating but I know why they're still waiting on scalebound............ I know keep on holding your breath!
WAY to short but id like to see the quartet of all 4 putting aside there life changing differences and banding together and much much much more gameplay time I finished this in about 5 hrs of game play and that is laughable for how long it took them to make it just my opinion....not trying to take from the actual difficulty of making such a beautiful game 6/10 best I can give as a "professional" gamer if u will
I was about to watch this but then I remembered how annoyed I was to be spammed with ea battlefront 2 advertising awhile back that got so bad I swore off GameSpot.. at least for a few more months to see if they get it together
It's not important. Nadine has some history with the characters, but it isn't crucial to the story. It would be easier if you played 4 as the gameplay is exactly the same.
We really liked Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Will you be picking up this new adventure in the Uncharted universe?
thank you for giving me a 9 gamespot
GameSpot u better than IGN
Yes.
Could you please change the thumbnail to spell dynamic correctly? Thanks
GameSpot already pre-ordered it two months ago
I just saw IGN's review, it's crazy how two people can see a game so differently.
Its crazy how people still search up IGN's reviews, I thought that company went dead.
The Amazing Lucas This game is same-y. It's all been done before. That's just the truth.
LightningSamus but not for gamers LOL. Coz we're so intellectually evolved we see things in an absolutely objective view.

I have no problem with a 6 hour single player game if it rocks...and this looks like exactly what I want from a Uncharted game! Day 1 purchase for me
Half the length for half the price... it's not rocket science
Mhm let's do some math this is 40$ and uncharted at it's release was 60$ yep that's defiantly half the price moron
Pi Chives the game is 8 hours if you don't rush it.
Pi Chives here in the uk it's £21/22 uncharted 4 when it was released was around £45/£50 pretty much half the price

SilverEye I always thought Drake and Sully should tie their dicks together.
This game was a fucking blast I recommend it to anyone who's played the uncharted series, you will not be disappointed!!
Lost Legacy is a fantastic game. Has all the bombast of the series’s earlier games and the gravitas of its finale.
Two of my favorite characters from the main uncharted story. They should've added co-op to the campaign.
Just finished uncharted 4, what a great game. Will be starting this tomorrow, so looking forward to this.
So did anyone else think this game was a perfect opportunity to make the singleplayer co-op?
If you play this on a harder mode, the way uncharted should be played you should get 10+ hours out of the game. This was played on easy mode for the reviewer. Watched ACG's review, far more comprehensive.
Someone tell me if this is really similar to Uncharted 4?
Don't wanna play the same game but with different characters.
greentealatte it's in the same engine but it's not the same game. Really recommend. It's UC4 gameplay without the boring parts.
Yes it IS similar. It has its own unique story though.
Gotta say I'm really impressed, for a DLC sure seems like a whole lot went into it.
Wow!...awesome review.another great addition to ps4 exclusives...i have both ps4 and Xbox one.I wish Xbox also had some good exclusives.Because I haven't turned on my Xone for weeks.Still 5 days are left for the release😭
I never played 4. The third felt like such a step down from 3. Should I check out 4 first?
To me, this just looks like an extension to an already near-perfect experience. I like how things were left after Uncharted 4. It was very satisfying. This looks exactly the same, except for Nate. I think I'll give it a miss for now, but a significant price drop could sway me.
This is more 8 hours if you do not rush true game.I think he is rush through to make review early. If is 6hrs I do not mind if is good...
11 hours in and still going.. he rushed the game
11 hours?! Damn, I took took my time to collect all the coin thingies in chapter 4 and I finished it in 6 hours and 40 minutes.
Bole ZG
That's what I hate about reviewers.
Just finished this game I loved it so much it has a very uncharted 2 feel don't pass on it because drake isn't it because this is absolutely a great fun and stunning game loved it for me it was a 9.5/10
Now I'm hoping for a Charlie Cutter story.
Only thing that bothers me in this review is use of nate's theme it just doesn't feel right to use it for this game, but the game is awesome btw, I really enjoy it 😁.
if they do ever make another standalone game, it had better be about Sam and sully
Man...IGN, Gamespot, and ACG all uploaded their reviews at the same time
I'm keen for this for it's more allowance for stealth and I don't even follow the franchise
6 hours is pretty good for a single player expansion
I bet Naughty Dogs next huge release will have a ton of the open world parts.
I agree with your review, I saw the game play and was very impressed
Naughty Dog animators are the best! Give these people a raise!
I don't feel the bad guy or story is as good as usual but it's still good
Should I get this for the Jax and Daxter?
this game is great, but way too short
6 hours is a bit of a let down for me :/
I was expecting the 10hrs they claimed
At the same time tho you get multiplayer (good if you don't have it) AND Jak+Daxter (preorder). With all that in mind I say $40 is fair; maybe that's just the Jak fan in me tho
Maximum1Impulse They probably just ran through Instead of exploring like a normal person does
How to give a decent review, thanks GameSpot. No thanks to you, IGN.
Talk about timing... Sony nails it with yet another brilliant addition to their roster of games whilst Microsoft announces the delay of Crackdown 3 :/
WAY to short but id like to see the quartet of all 4 putting aside there life changing differences and banding together and much much much more gameplay time I finished this in about 5 hrs of game play and that is laughable for how long it took them to make it just my opinion....not trying to take from the actual difficulty of making such a beautiful game 6/10 best I can give as a "professional" gamer if u will
Chayton Ross we all asked for your rating we really did!!!!
This is how you make an expansion game!
I hope we get a sequel to this
With sam
I want 1 or 2 more
I was about to watch this but then I remembered how annoyed I was to be spammed with ea battlefront 2 advertising awhile back that got so bad I swore off GameSpot.. at least for a few more months to see if they get it together
Is it important to finish the 4th game first? Or is this just a complete spin-off?
It's not important. Nadine has some history with the characters, but it isn't crucial to the story. It would be easier if you played 4 as the gameplay is exactly the same.
Another GOTY contender from Sony.
👍🏆
Is it better on PS4 Pro though??
