Thank you Britt Nicole for this amazing and encouraging song. A few years ago, I performed this song for a church talent show. Until then, I was constantly plagued with suicidal thoughts and felt I was worthless and had no purpose in life. But it was at that moment when I hopped onto the stage that I finally found my dream and now have a goal for my life: sharing the Good News and strengthening others through music as you had done for me.

Loved this song a few years back, but wasn't 100% sure what it was about, listening to it again now at age 16, I've realized, now that my relationship with God has strengthened, why it made me so happy at a younger age. Hearing Britt singing of his love sparked that feeling of joy then, as it does everyday for me now when I see his love surrounding me and everyone in my life♡ (:

I adore the way that Britt Nicole's songs deal so heavily with the theme of hope (A virtue which is becoming increasingly hard to come by in this day and age, yet one which we are in dire need of). It's like, "Gold" is about finding hope within yourself by remembering how loved and valued you are in God's eyes, and "Ready or Not" in turn is about spreading that hope around to others!
May God continue to bless Britt Nicole for how much she has expanded and enriched His Kingdom through her music!

Do not worry if someone says you look crazy or if your loud. Make a scene for Jesus if He asks you to no questions asked. This music is a message from God to me. The Lord has now saved me and I have His light in my soul so I should not hide it anymore but shine it so that the world will see and come to Him too. (I’ve recently been trying to hide His light within because I was scared of what others think. I was scared and worried of people seeing me to be a Jesus’ freak). But now that I’ve heard this music, I can clearly see that the Lord is encouraging me to do His will. So I pray that the Lord will give me the strength,courage, and boldness to shine His amazing light in this dark world.This I pray for me and also everyone else who’s in my shoe.
