Worth repeating: Performed entirely by Nash The Slash using electric mandolins, electric violins, electronic percussion, keyboards, pedals, voices, devices. There are no guitars! He had many other releases and they are worth checking out.
One of the greatest albums ever recorded. Impossible to articulate how much this record means to me. I was just a teenager when I first heard "Wolf" hidden under the sheets, fading in and out of Radio Luxembourg. It sounded like violins and electronics meeting Prokofiev. From that day to this, I've always been grateful to have been "wired" to love Nash the Slash and electronic music.
This album forms an almost mythical part of my early teen years. I love the way UA-cam pops up things which you thought you'd never hear of or see again, only to find out just how much they mean to other people 💛 OMG 😯 I just listened to 'Danger Zone' *after* having written my comment and I just had to add something. It is awesome 🤩
Bought this in 1980 and it was a life changing experience. This man was so underrated, Gary Numan was blown away when he first saw him and immediately booked him as his support for his first American tour.
An underrated huge talent and Canadian underground icon. Part Krautrock influenced electronics part.. anyone's guess. He always performed wearing complete "MUMMY" wrappings!!! Been wanting to hear this for ever. R.I.P. Nash the Slash! Thanks for posting.
Thank you so much for posting this! I just heard of Nash last night (for real) and have been madly devouring his stuff for the last 24 hours. I'm so sad I'll never get to experience him live.
The Al Gore Rhythm brought me here. I had never heard of this guy before. I've listened to my fair share of avant-garde music, I can't say that I've heard anything like this. As a guitar player, I'm jealous of the guitar tone, and apparently there isn't a single guitar track on the album.

I had the pleasure of seeing him perform twice and to this day probably the best live performances I've seen.
Experienced an epic journey to see him in Seattle in the early 80s. It was worth it to be in the presence of this musical madman.

Sorry Nash the Slash but Tuxedomoon did "19th Nervous Breakdown" way better than you a year prior.
Yo! Dickhead! Have some respect.
