Very useful - I just bought the 3500 and am amazed that it's basically impossible to clean if you spray as much as 2 litres. Need to stop and clean after every litre I guess. I throw it all straight in a bucket of water and strip and scrub every part before reassembly. The 3500 heats up that much with it's twin turbines that it basically cooks the paint on. Ant the air filter clogs itself super fast, like within 2 litres if your working in a confined space ie fitted bookshelves. Bloody nice finish though, and far less overspray than airless. What a learning curve - nothing like a brush and roller!😅

Colin did the same thing for me today, I had never cleaned it properly and thought I was just rubbish at spraying.

A useful vid Trevor. I thinking of investing in one of these XVLP5000. Would you clean all the heads in the same way? eg fine finish etc. Thanks.

So you've been using this unit for a while now, are you still glad you bought it or would you buy something different?

It is a really good starter to intermediate machine, yes it has lasted me well and never let me down tbh. More than paid for itself. Are you looking at buying one?

I have never sprayed, do you clean the needle everytime you use it ? Or run water through the machine Each time ?

I didnt even know the needle needed cleaning, however now I clean it if not every time I spray, I always clean it every other time.

TJ Painting and Decorating have you ever had to replace a needle due to wear? I’m curious how expensive they are
