You are NOT blowing it up correctly. They are not designed to be TIED. You ROLL the end up into a 'tight roll'. Then "Tuck it in" like a "Belly Button" This avoids an Annoying knot on the end.. and the temptation for the child to put the stem into their mouth. This also allows you to 'untuck' the stem and Deflate/Reinflate as needed.
Punch balloons weren't meant to be tied but have the neck rolled up and stuck in the bulb the large knob on neck stops up the balloon
Whose this video designed for? Surely everyone knows how fit the rubber band , pump the balloon up and the off, if you're going to the it off. As 'tubecar' wrote, roll the long neck up and tuck it into the wider part of the neck. Then when the fun is over, unroll the neck , deflate for another day. Did you think the punch was going to burst? These balloons will blow up to 16" or even to 18" for better fun when punching. Gotta wash the rice, sharp points scan burst the balloon and rice spread all over the room. Have fun though until it eventually bursts, that's what balloons are made for.
PUNCH ballons. Not slap. Make fist mid band and punch the ball.
They're not new, far from it. In Scotland, we had them in the 90s and I think they were around long before that too. I used to have great fun with them as a kid.
Tip: Add some grains of uncooked rice before inflating and then it makes a lovely sound when the kids shake them
that is not the knot.... does anyone remember how to make the removable knot for these?

I have used this balloons with physical therapy long time ago. Now I'm laying on them for relaxing.
I can vouch for having these in the 80s too.
These were around in the 60’s and made famous by the Romper Room tv programme
