Thanks to have seen these exlent machines.
I wasn’t impressed at first because all I saw going into it were a little twigs and leaves and branches in a lot of dirt. But when the big logs came in and it chewed them up with no stalling that was impressive. Exciting video thank you for the upload

Does anyone know the typical applications of the shredded wood? I'm curious as to where it goes and what it's used for. Frankly, I just like watching it get shredded though ;)
+andyloweengineering most likely that type of shredded waste goes to a heating plant that uses it direktly as fuel in an oven that dont care if it have some foreign objekts like stone and sand and metal in it.
in my nearest town kristiansand they have a sentral heating facility that burns tons of such material + other types of waste.
but if it had been cleaner wood it could have been prossesd further to pellets ore briketts.
+andyloweengineering You can use it for paths or weed surpression. Some of it may be shredded again, more finely.
Making Compost, Mulch, or even Wood Gas for a Wood Gassifier / Generator (low tarry wood like oak). I've seen some people use wood in a cement-wood hybrid block for building.

why would you want to shred it ,,,saw it up and sell it as logs for Christ sake
I agree. We just watched a bunch of perfectly good saw timber get shredded. My only hope is that it got used for mulch or compost and not get sent to a co-gen plant.
