Being so against specialists that you won't sign Tyus Jones for like $12 million below market value seems like a needlessly stubborn position for a front office to have. The way "specialist" is being used here seems way too broad too. It seems to mean "not an All-League defender." They're apparently just fine with defensive specialists though.
@@YourWorstNightmare3333 Tyus doesn't have to start, you know. Also, sorry, but he's a way better point guard than either of those guys. It's about getting players who can shoot for WAY below market value. Where is the risk? This is what smart front offices do. Tyus was just one example among half a dozen guys they passed over who could have been had cheaply.
@@EasyRidingWithUncleDoc Maybe that faith will pay off, but in my opinion they're good enough now that they should add some known talent. They just did that with KCP. Does that indicate a lack of faith in their guards? You can develop guys on your roster while also improving now. Lastly, what about Paolo and Franz's development? They need spacing, and they need it now. They can't wait three years for AB to maybe become a volume 3pt shooter, if that ever happens. Yes, he shot well but the volume was so low that it doesn't matter.
@@rome8180 Smart FO’s lmao you think you’re smart? There’s a reason no one wanted to pay him. He doesn’t defend what can’t you noobs understand that? He isn’t a better player than Suggs and AB’s upside needs to be used this season to know if he’s the real deal. The team is already too deep and you want Tyus. How big of a casual are you
Brogdon Simons Sexton Tyus Garland Bogdanovich White LMAO Everyone you mentioned are Mid or Trash. This team doesn’t need a guard. AB will be better than everyone you mentioned. Just wait and see. Magic needs an upgrade at C for the future but it doesn’t need to happen this season.

It's about faith and development of their young guards. They did not re sign Fultz for the same reason.
Who do you think Tyus jones is? He isn’t a needle mover genius. Would rather play Suggs and AB at PG rather than Tyus. Upside>>> Tyus

It’s gonna be TDS who will backup Franz not Gary nor Jett. Jett needs to replace Coke their game is too similar

What a homer. Jeez. You'd be comical if it wasn't kind of sad.
