You have done the brilliant lyrics of Roger Waters justice, and I am such a student of his writing that I write his words on high quality paper and frame them. They adorn my study. He is the biggest influence on my own writing and I strive to write just one thing that approaches the depth of Waters, although I'm sure it is a futile endeavor.I must confess that when I started watching the video I was prepared to rip you a new one. How dare anyone muck around with the powerful statement of these works. That would be blasphemy to my sensibilities and I was ready to declare you a heretic.That declaration will not come my friend. You captured the sheer essence. I was taken aback. I am extremely impressed with your work. You made the songs come alive for me through the intense imagery and spot on editing and timing. Very well done. I will be sharing this on Facebook and I will be posting it on my clans World of Tanks website. I'm confident my fellow clan mates will enjoy it as much as I did. I will probably try and put a copy or at least a link on my desktop in order to watch it over, which I will do many times I assure you. VERY intense, well-reflected are the images and emotions of war. Plus its' futility...it moved me especially as i have my husbands' casket flag in my room; the pure impressions of what hell war is, & continues to exist, has me without any other words than to say thank you. This was indeed a tribute to Vets & the Greatest Band on Earth that existed.

I am a VietNam combat vet and I came home as did all the other Nam vets to a country who didn't like us. So most of us went back to that country either in our dreams or in reality. I 'discovered' this album by watching my daughters' turns to watch tv more specifically MTV. Fell in love with the songs, they resonate to a combat vet and to those who have lost a service member. I've lost many a good battle brother back then and even today. I wish those who want war could be forced to listen to this album. maybe the young who always answer that call will finally see some light at the end of their tunnel.
You don't have to have been to war to understand and relate to these songs. Anyone who has PTSD and an abusive childhood upbringing can be emotionally triggered and totally relate to what has been sung.

I honestly think half the album is great and The Fletcher Memorial Hame, Not now John, and The Final Cut are stunning songs, but the albums order and Pink showing up at the last second and going to Not Now John was what made it fall .
