He’s been coating RV roofs for 26 years and I’m satisfied with the work and thickness of the layer that was applied. Thank you for watching and commenting I appreciate it.
This guy don't know what he is doing and if u wait awhile it will not stick right because he didn't pressure wash it first. This guy hasn't done this for 26yrs either and isn't a RV tech or he would know how to do it right the first time. Sorry but just keep it real.
I appreciate your comment and respectfully disagree. Pressure washing can lead to bubbling because if the roof isn’t 100% dry before applying the product it will bubble. I’m very happy with the results and no leaks.
@@SilverTurtle65 1) I don't see any Dicor labeling on any of the coating. There is no good reason for this that I can think of. 2) If this is an EDPM roof then Dicor states clearly that use of Dicor EDPM Cleaner/Activator MUST be used. That's why they call it "Part 1". 3) the instructions provided by Dicor state "For best results, rinse with clean water using a minimum 2,000 psi pressure washer." This is an exact quote.
@@billanon7917 Thank you for watching and commenting. It’s been over a year since this video and roof work was done and there’s no delaminating or leaks at all. I’m very satisfied with the job he did and would have it done again. The problem with pressure washing is if it’s not 100% dry it will cause bubbling problems. Since he’s a mobile service this way is more practical.
@@LinYingjun I sold the RV in August and no leaks with the roof. The reason he doesn’t pressure wash it is because if it’s not completely dry the new roof will bubble up.
Looks great! Agree it is best to call a professional and get it done right the first time! Love it! Paul & Magen
Thank you, I would have pressured washed the roof and that’s a mistake many make and get bubbles as a result.
Well done instruction.
Good plan to get it taken care of before, not after.👍
Well done institicion 👍

I actually sold the RV last year to someone that took to Burning Man festival and they had the most rain ever recorded and no leaks.
@SilverTurtle65 still sticks after 3 years 👍
Year to dare…. How is this application holding up? Thanks. 😀
Hi Pete, it’s holding up great, I was just in a rain storm last weekend while camping and no leaks at all.

@@SilverTurtle65 thank you
Way too cheap, 2 gallon dicor cost 200 dollars. Good deal if everything done right

@@SilverTurtle65 Hi, thanks for the video. How is your RV roof now? I see he didn’t use power wash and primer, right?
