I miss both of these iconic men. Andre obviously was the 8th wonder of the world, but Gordon Solie was THE voice of pro wrestling in the 70's. He had respect for all the wrestlers, and they respected him in turn. This interview proves that and I applaud Gordon for asking the questions that mattered.
Now that is a proper interview of Andre in my opinion, most interviewers are insensitive and ask such demeaning questions of Andre, first and foremost, he was a human being.
Wonder how much of this is real or a work. I've always heard about his soccer and rugby background and because he boxed Chuck Wepner, I can believe he did at least a little boxing before. But can't imagine the Redskins offering him to play for them with no football experience.

Two of the VERY BEST!
I miss Andre…😢
He was a humble and sweet man…He was good in The Princess Bride too.

André The BIG MAN !
Priceless!
Andre is the only reason there is wrestling today , because what he did in the 70s

There has to be some video somewhere. I remember George Allen was the head coach of Washington had an interview where he talked about signing Andre.
