I have many questions in regards to your Departments SOP's. Have you thought about going to the 2 1/2" and a smooth bore nozzle for your standpipe operations? The benefits are low pressure and high volume. Also, without an inline pressure gauge, how do you know what pressure your flowing or attempting to flow? Having a smooth bore nozzle also allows debris from the standpipe to pass through.
