The quality of life has deteriorated to unrecognizable levels in Germany, in the last 12 years. Companies don’t want to pay more and the inflation is sky high. There is no money for infrastructure and German trains are a national embarrassment. I used to save 40% of my pay in 2012, now I cannot save anymore. I think it’s more exaggeration than actual news . Yes it’s ageing for sure and in the coming years a lot of people will get retired and offcourse China is competing. But it’s not like that Europe would become like Africa and people here would start dying of hunger. 😀. Europe is loosing of competitiveness because of price and that is why inflation is a big issue in Europe specially post covid and Ukraine and Russia war. Europe needs to control the inflation. Bring down the interest rates , find cheaper energy alternative options .
