You have a lovely home Nicole. Very charming and unique to you. I thrift also but can't bring myself to buy second hand decorative pillows or textiles. I have invested in pillow inserts and stick with covers from amazon. I've gotten some beautiful toile and grain sack covers along with others I love. I've inherited some beautiful antiques and purchased Amish built pieces also over the years. All in all I call it ecclectic but it sure works for me. Cozy,comfortable and reflects "Us not them"!Blessings to your family. Patti

I've always thought, and told you, your home is beautiful.. but i never knew your husband built the fire place! Wow! He really did an amazing job.. its beautiful! You'd never know it wasn't already built with the home. I know you're proud of him😊 This chair is so beautiful! I love old chairs, i have collected quite a few small dining chairs that i just sit around the house for decor. Of course they all have some type of decor sitting in them. But I love the old an chairs too! If I had room I'd definitely have to have a few! They're pretty sitting in the living space, but also in the corners of a room like this one! Even in the bedrooms. I also want a secretary when i get a bigger home.. love them! The black cabinet that was given to you is so pretty, you did a great job on it! And the space is pretty also, the mirror is beautiful. You really can find so many great things thrifting and great prices as well. I've thrifted and went to garage/yard sales since i was in my early 20's or the mid to late 80's.. so its been quite a long time🫣lol my age! Again you have A beautiful home and decorated beautifully! TFS😊

You gave me a suggestion for what to do with my empty wall space above the couch. What size frames are the pictures of your kids in ?
Oh good! They are a 16x20 frame I believe but the photos themselves are a 12x16 with the white matte around it.
Ok when I read the reviews on the lamps above the pictures it said most returned items ?
I haven’t had any issues with them at all. Ours aren’t hardwired. We used puck lights in them
