Thanks for sharing this. I like seeing others who seem to have a more realistic budget. The giant "haul" videos are interesting but not realistic so its nice to see relatable content.
Would love for you to do one.pot meals next. Especially your spanish rice with sausage. Many people say they can't recreate ketchup in a way they like.
Thank you so much for sharing. I love these videos. You help jump start my planning as I watch. I would love to see your yearly Azure Standard haul when you do it. Also, praise the Lord your mole removal was successful and your in the clear. I've had moles removed before and the waiting for the results is nail biting. But always "wait upon the Lord" even when it is hard to do.
I realize that you are trying to have the most nutritional and least expensive meals but there is nothing wrong with chicken nuggets every once in a while. I don't see you as someone who would get in a habit of making excuses to use processed food like that on a regular basis. Give yourself some grace and know that you are doing a great job almost all the time. 😊
Definitely. ❤️ I follow the 80/20 rule in just about every area of life. I do my absolute best as long as time, energy, and reality allows and give myself permission to take advantage of convenience when needed. Thank you for your kind encouragement. ❤️
Absolutely. You're doing a great job feeding such a large family on a small budget. Nothing wrong with a treat or convenience meal when you're eating 90% home cooked and healthy. I've recently become aware of the "bioengineered food" label on foods now and am paying more attention to which treats or convenience food I buy. That alone has me cooking from scratch more and more.
I believe you can make batches of bread dough and freeze it as individual dough loafs and take them out to bake as needed. I actually do my big shopping once every month and a half and as I shop I do think about what I may be able to make as meals. I’m wondering if I should actually create a meal calendar. My sister and I have started our ball jar storage and I am purchasing the ball jar sealer system this week. I would also like to purchase the large bucket with the gamma seal for flour, sugar, and, rice. I am really grateful for the wonderful ideas.
Just a small FYI to check your baby carrots. These is a massive recall for e-coli on baby carrots. It’s an organic growing farm that deliver to at least 8 well known stores from Walmart to Trader Joe’s. ❤️
Thank you. I checked. ❤️ It appears it’s organic ones only. They were all out of organic at the store so I got non-organic. (And that’s probably why they were out.) Thank you for looking out for me! 😊
I've only recently learned about your channel, but I've been pouring through your videos. You are extremely inspirational. However, one issue I always struggle with is time management . Both of us work 9:00 to 5:00 jobs and we have two small children who will only eat the same few items for dinner. I'm the cook in the family but many times I find myself just too tired to make anything that requires any brain cells. It also doesn't help that my wife is a vegetarian so I am always struggling to figure out how to make something we both will enjoy... Or it requires me making two versions of the same thing but one without meat which doubles the frustration. I've really been trying to get into canning, dehydrating, gardening, etc, but it has been a struggle to find the time and energy. It would be awesome to see a video on planning and time management for a day/week/month/year
Meant to mention this if you weren't aware: bananas will keep in the refrigerator at the stage of ripeness they're at when you pop them in for at least a week. Yes, the peels will darken and you'll think they are rotting, but pull that peel down and behold a lovely ripe banana.
I’m Italian and will email you an Italian wedding soup recipe from my great grandmother, Iozzi ❤ I’ll send the entire recipe, but the base will be on page 1. It’s a 5 gallon pot recipe so adjust if need be 🤷🏼♀️
Hallelujah Jesus!!! So glad to hear you’re all clear - answered prayers for sure!!!

So glad to hear your results were benign!
🙌❤️
You can mix 1/2 gal whole milk with 1/2 gal powdered milk & when cold, you can’t tell the difference from all whole milk.
Used to do this years ago really works
Great tip!
My foster mom use to do this and we didn’t know the difference
Hey Jordan, Can't you make the Bagels ?
Glad that the mole was negative - thoughts from across the pond 🙂
I can and have, but bagel-making is my least favorite food prep task. Borderline can’t stand it lol! I’m not sure why. 🤷♀️
I’m so glad your mole is negative! You also have a great haul. Have a blessed day!
🙌❤️

Funny, I just bought some organic nuggets to try. I'm thinking of topping my salad for a protein.

Thank you! I’ll be starting to make sandwich loaves-I hope it’s not too hard.
I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it quickly. ❤️
So thankful you are in the clear. God is good!
Amen! 🙌

I didn’t know that! Thank you for sharing. 😊
Grimway carrots have been recalled!
I heard that too a gew days ago. Wouldn't they have pulled imthem off the shelves by now?
It’s only the organic ones.
I've been watching for a while now. May I ask what state you live in? I'm glad your mole was benign.
I just say I’m in the southeast. 🙂

Thank you!! ❤️
There is a recall on all those baby carrots e coli, the whole United States they say if you have them throw them out, the outbreak is in state 😯
It’s just the organic the regular carrots are fine
It’s organic only, but thank you for looking out for me! 😊
And the onions too, they are infected with e-coli😮
Hallelujah Jesus!!! So glad to hear you’re all clear - answered prayers for sure!!!
