CREATIVE FORCE - Part 2
Prepare yourself for an extraordinary journey into the musical world of contemporary guitar artistry with the one and only Pat Martino.
Creative Force is an incredible three hour, two part instructional video series by Pat showing for the first time his unique philosophies and insights into improvising and solo guitar playing culminating from years of experience performing, composing and recording.
In part two Pat continues demonstrating his "converting to minor" system for improving. Here he explains how he superimposes his incredible minor lines over Maj7 min7 Dom7 min7b5 and altered Dom7 chords in common progressions. You'll lean how to have complete control of the entire fingerboard as Pat shows how he connects positions together allowing you to play both horizontally and vertically. Pat also shares valuable advice on phrasing and dynamics.
Next, Pat outlines his unique augmented concept, an approach that uses the augmented triad as a parental form to derive unusual triadic chord structures. Then see these ideas applied as Put performs some of his beautiful solo guitar arrangements including his well known "Country Road" and "Both Sides Now."
As in part one, also 90 minutes, you'll see many powerful performances, discussions and demonstrations by this legendary guitarist.
The accompanying booklet includes many examples in standard music notation and tablature.
