Barbara Billingsly was a fantastic actress...forever known as "June Cleaver" and I agree with you about her role in the movie "Airplane" as the "Jive Lady". Sad to say, only Jerry Mathers, a.k.a. "The Beaver" is the last surviving member of the cast. Hugh Beaumont (Ward), Tony Dow (Wally), Ken Osmond (Eddie Haskell) and Frank Bank (Lumpy Rutherdord) have all passed on. Rest in Peace to all the cast members who are no longer here with us in the physical world.
What about Whitey Whitney?!?! Did he die too?!?!

Used to watch “Leave It To Beaver” and many other wholesome shows, when I was a kid. I miss those shows.

Barbara Billingsly was a beautiful woman. I watched "Leave it to Beaver" every day when I got home from school. I did love her in "Airplane", I was shocked to see her and hear her on that movie! RIP Barbara Billingsly

Lumpy passed away a few years ago.
From a very young age i loved Mrs Cleaver and my Barbie, both wore beautiful sheath dresses, lovely full skirt dresses and heels. I couldn't wait to wear those dresses and heels! By the time I'm a young teen, everybody is wearing mini skirts and moccasins! And, my husband was no Ward Cleaver. I still want to know why i didn't get my Gerber baby.🤨
One of my favorite tv shows. Tv now 😪 I don’t even have it anymore not for several years can’t afford it anymore. This new regime has cancelled a lot of good tv shows and this would have been one of them if it were still showing. 😡😡🤬🤬

Barbara (privately) was a smoker at the time that she got her famous role and she decided, on her own to quit her habit. She felt that an American stay-at-home mom would not have such a habit.

I think there's still a few of the cast left. I know Hugh Beaumont passed in 1982 I think it was. It really bothered me when Eddie Haskell (Ken Osmond) passed. As it did when Tony Dow and Barbara passed. I think Frank Bank - Lumpy - passed awhile back. Hard to believe it's pushing 70 years since Leave It To Beaver first aired.

One of the best things she ever was in was a movie made for TV called Bay Coven (Sometimes Bay Cove). It was a bad movie but it was funny AF to see her in the role. It was a horror movie Lifetime style before Lifetime was a big thing. Woody Harrelson was in the movie as well.
