      Absolutely! Back when I was in Bahrain during the Gulf War I was living there, in the American School run by the DoD, they were open to other nationals and a lot of mixed race Arab kids there were so smart. They had an investment class and a mock investment trading and that was out of the ordinary!

    I've started with fundraise April 2019. I put 10k and been adding various amounts throughout the years. Right now I'm sitting on just above 50k of which 13k are gains from appreciation and dividends. I hope that helps for those who are considering joining.

      @@RyanScribner Yup! I still have it in my account to this day. I'm focusing on funding my robinhood though as my gains there are much more higher. I also did some math at one point around February of 2019 and found out if I had purchased $1000 of $O instead and held it for an entire year, by money alone without withdrawal fees from fundrise, $O and Fundrise would gain approximately the same amount. Then as the year went by, it looked like $O would've made the best Roi after all fees accounted for.

I initially put in $1000 and just let it sit there for a full year too before I became comfortable and started putting in $100 a month. In total, I put in $2100 and the value now is $2288.87. I am happy and comfortable with this small little growth of 8%. And just like you said, the stock market may do better some years but I just like having this extra bit of cushion.

    Definitely was intrigued to see a Fundrise update! Been in Fundrise for a bit too, have you seen the enhanced K-1 based portfolio options with them? Always fascinated with all the options they have.

      @@RyanScribner I think they have certain eligibility. If you're curious about seeing the information, feel free to reach out and would be glad to share as I have access to them. Been hesitant with them since they would produce a K1 instead of a 1099, but three additional portfolio options beyond the normal ones.

      @@RyanScribner Howdy Ryan - thanks for the heads up. You're a wonderful inspiration to many. I invested in the Fundrise little i PO. This week I made a video about my experiences with Fundrise and their iPO. What are your thoughts on my Fundrise real estate investing video?

    Would you invest in TOL stock or real estate REITs too because it's more liquid to withdraw?

  • @Bullish-Vibes
    @Bullish-Vibes 3 роки тому

    Cool concept but there are plenty of REITs out there that pay a better dividend with lower fees. Liquidity is also an issue I dont like.
