This is me making a leather slip case for an iPhone 4. You can make all sorts of cases in this way, the principle of folding and forming the slip and then having two simple stitch runs is very versatile.

LEATHER
wooooow, you are amazing, wonderful job , thanks for share and congratulations
Beautiful
Wow. Well done sir. The case looks super nice, durabel and timeless. btw, this is super inspiring. Could be my new hobby for the winter. I´m very curious and interested, what the tools and the liquids you use are called and what exactly they do. For a super noob it isn´t that obvious even after watching the vid for some more times. Again, thanks a ton. Greetinx from Berlin.
Your videos are really awesome. May I know what is the liquid you are applying on the leather, on the first part of the video? Thank you.
A set of various sized gasket punches might work well for your radii
Thank you so much.
Hey what type of thread are you using in this video if you don't mind me asking. Great work!!! Thanks
Nice work. Very talented!
great job
Could you list the different products you put on the leather for finishing. I suspect the following but confirmation would be great, stain, sealer??, leather sheen, and I believe you had one more? Great video, thanks!
Good job
عمل متميز وكفائة تستحق التقدير والاحترام
Hey, this is a great tutorial! But I can't figure out what is it that you put on the thread after you tie the knot (min 4:12). Is it wax or is it some sort of glue? Thanks a lot!
Great video! No sound on my end though. Oh, watch and learn! Thanks!
can you please pm me everything you used to do this cause i would like to try out making 1 out of curiosity please great Video
Outstanding leatherwork; it is my profession. For your audience's information, how about a video on the tools you used, what they are called and where one can get them.
What do you put on the leather to change its color and where do you get it (all the coating to finish it)
Your good Dude !
Talent
I just want to ask you about the time. how long time it takes to make som think beuty like this
Best Regards//Ali
What is the name of your tool that cut out the groove for the bottom of the phone. I have a stitch Grover but the one your using is much better. Please tell me the name of it and where you got it or where I can get it. Thank you and please continue making your videos, they are awesome and one of the reasons why I’m starting this craft
Very nice!
Great video! Once you're done stitching (at the 4:05 mark), you used a tool and took two tiny dots of something to put over the stitches. Is that beeswax? This case really looked amazing!
Nice and silence work.
The weight is up to you, depends how heavy/flexible you want it! If you wanted to tool it I would stick to the flat parts and do it before you shaped it.
Awesome 😍😍😍 what did you put in the hole when you finished the stitching?
Looks great! What kind of leather is it?
A fascinating process to watch, for one who has never seen this kind of thing done (and might want to try it). A question: does the finished case have enough slack in it that the the phone would easily slip in & out, or would you have to muscle it in & out? If the latter, maybe wrapping the phone in a layer of fabric would make the case looser? Do you ever do something like that? Or is this not an issue?
Allen Hopkins it's leather so it'll start out pretty tight but wear in with use if you make it loose to begin with it will be to loose to use effectively once worn in
Can you explain what you are doing with the stitches from 3:50 to 4:23? Thank you.
hey, can i know, what liquid for finishing do you use.., because till now i still confuse what material to finishing..
great and a resourceful one
very good it gave me an idea.but mine is going to be for galaxy4
Your talented
Wow,awesome what leather are you using for this? 4mm?
Wow, very nice!
Can you tell me what kind of leather you used? I bought some kind but it has been treated surface.
Great work! Looks really nice.
Im curious what are those liquids you used? Im a beginner and It will be great if you can share tools used. thanks
Great minimalistic job, sir!
I have a question regarding your treatment of leather here:
1) What is that black fluid you're covering the sides (and the whole case) with? Some kind of varnish, oil, paint? i have no idea. Help me out here. (Mr. Bridges Mini Mints leads me nowhere :)
2) the second coat is what exactly? (another mystery bottle)
Third one is clearly some wax - that one i got :)
Thanks in advance!
awesome video
Can you use soft leather for something like this?
hi can you describe all the tools and solutions in video, I am a beginner and want to know as much about the process
what did you use to buff the leather after you stained
