My kind of tree bro, very interesting. I would probably get rid of the root strangling the trunk, looks interesting now but will cause issues later. May be the lighting but looks more like a scots pine, colour of the bark and length of the needles. All said, a do love it.
Thank you Ross. I hadn't thought about the root strangling the trunk like that. Thank you for pointing that out to me. It may be a scots pine and they sold it to me as a black pine. I'll look into it. I also have a white pine I'll be doing a video in the future. I purchased the both from the same company. I'm grateful for your expertise here.
I thought that exact same thing, lol. The rain washed the root at rear clean and now it looks like a tree creature from Lord of Rings walking across the ground. LOL. Thank you! I'll post updates.
Thank you every one for watching my latest episode. Let me know what you think of the email to the Bonsai World at 3:20 and keep watching past 18:00 when things "start to get real" and let me know in the comments if you can relate to the struggle.
Brussels is a rip off they are way over charged for the most mass produced "bonsai" which are all just mostly rotted with moss and non of em have anything special about them and charging Insane prices for everything. I promise you I live one mile from Brussels and landscaping Co I work for is right next door to it and om telling everyone don't order trees from Brussels online go there and pick it out yourself if possible

That one lump of root reminds me of a hand coming up from a grave, as it had been buried alive in that clay soil and I think you just saved it. 👍🏽

What exactly is the "DarkWeb"
It's a place on the internet. I've never been but I've heard terrible things.
Why would you dig it out like that with your fingers? But your worried about the health of the tree
i know the place you got that black pine you get what pay for.. the price was not that much so yea..
It was good pricing. I'm not sure if I'll buy from them again.
Order from Brussel's Bonsai and all will be well
Yes. The schefflera penjing and Chinese elm on my first two episodse were from Brussell's. I'm thinking about getting an azalea from him next.
