There are a supergroup composed of: Mary's Blood guitarist Saki ex-Lipstick vocalist Mayu ex-Disqualia guitarist Hazuki (also plays with Lisa-X) ex-Hölderlins bassist Haraguchi-san, and ex-Soramimi drummer Muratatam (also does other projects) Other than Saki, none of them had previously been with a breakout band, despite having amazing chops. Getting these five together did the trick-they are just exploding. Initially, they were just a side project, co-organized by Saki and Mayu. They started off posting metal covers of well-known rock, pop and metal songs. How does one adequately react without looking like a complete gaijin weeb/knob? I've come to appreciate that it just doesn't matter. Nemophila has engendered that rarest of chills when it comes to heavy musical excellence, the kind that make you legit confused about which awesome component of the group to focus on at any given time. And, truthfully, this is becoming more of a "problem" with these groups of Japanese ladies. In all honesty, there are many, they all sound distinct from one another...and they are currently in the process of making me eschew anything else being produced in the hard rock/metal world right now.
