If you don't like crowds or the night life, you should stay in Krabi Thailand instead of Phuket. It's as beautiful as Phuket and closer to many islands and the accommodations are cheaper.

Yeah, Krabi would have been my first choice also, but it’s slightly more inconvenient to get to from where we were, so we chose Phuket in the end.
