Do the math.. 2013-1400: 613... that year... Turkey geographically was still under Byzantine control... Turks fought along with Abbasi againat the Chinese in 751 which started the conversion of Turks into Islam. so no matter what.. your claim is wrong. Also Turkey is not a Muslim country. There are Armenian Christians, Orthodox Christians Jews atheists.. it is a Secular country. The fight is to keep it that way. The fight is to stop corrupt AKP and Erdogan government from selling off Turkey
i'm a turk and i know what turks are ... you can find Armenian Christians, Orthodox Christians Jews atheists in any nation but majority are muslims aven in iran the same!

Hello from Norway... I guess Norway is also islamized :) becouse Turkeys New Alcohol Regulations are point to point similar to Norways now.
What he says actually is that Mr. Erdogan must learn from US how to suppress the press without showing it to the world. I guess many know how certain news items were held back or censored for "national security" reasons and how US police force treats protesters.
I guess, he should have also reflected on what US would have done if the protesters were marching towards White House of Senate with clubs, sticks and guns, along with simultaneous and coordinated attacks to other important buildings.
And, most of these were provoked through Twitter, UA-cam and Facebook and openly encouraged by prominent columnists, public figures, actors etc.
I am sure US administration would have allowed all of it :)

Artin74 you didn't get the point at all. This is not about 2 trees, this is not about a shopping mall. This is about Erdo-gone oppressing people, being the only man who decides about everything, and moving the country to the wrong direction, that is the Arab direction, where he wants to proclaim himself as the caliph.

You don't get to call two Turkish heroes, Ataturk and Inonu, "two drunks" and expect your citizens to stay calm, Mr Erdogan. You're a PM of the Turkish Republic which was founded by Ataturk, do not forget that. Your supporters aren't the real power of this country, but we are.
