True. We also have to have better public transportation. Memphis tn need an el train circling the city, and more buses . Corporations are not going to come here unless they know their employees have a way to work even if their cars break down. Every blogger I see that have any complaint about Memphis is public transportation and crime. That's what tourist complain about also

Like if they retired working a job show much money they would get on social security or retirement fund, and how much money after going to prison for years. Show how much money do they get from selling drugs in a day, robbing, gangbanging or car theft, and compare with legitimate job. The youth understands money better Let them know college isn't the only answer, we still need legitimate carpenters, plumbers, electricians, landscapers, farmers. Now farmers are making money especially if organic farming, farm to table is it
It's nice but about a decade behind every other major city airport. Memphis is always way behind instead of being on par with everyone else, especially Nashville, in anything. That's why the city can't grow and get anywhere. Oh well. Enjoy your decade behind upgraded terminal.😂

I used love riding the bus to work at John Gaston Hospital and shopping downtown for everything, even in the early 80s it was standing room only on the bus. Then in the late 80s routes were changed and cut out. Over the years they kept changing routes and cutting down on buses. They are doing it now. He responded," Memphis doesn't need trains going around and across the city going Zip Zip." Now Wharton ex-mayor is a well travelled man, he has travelled all across America and has seen the good public transportation does in Detroit, Chicago and Atlanta does. He also went to China and saw their newly built train system, not to mention Europe's updated train system. But, had the nerve to say Memphis doesn't need one
