Nearing 4.000 km on it, since October of last year. Been riding it on a daily basis throughout the winter, including the 2 or 3 snowy days.
I'm very happy with it, it's a great machine for a beginner. Very easy to maneuver in traffic, not powerful enough to get you in trouble when you do stupid things but powerful enough to quickly get you out of tight spots when you need it to. Also, no mechanical problems whatsoever, so far.
But using it as a touring scooter... I don't know. On the rare occasions I got above 90km/h I have to say it depended a lot on the wind speed and direction if I had a pleasant ride or a scary one. I have the medium windscreen, but the problem is not the front wind, but the side one. Because the rider position is so high and upright - which is great for the city - this also makes you subject to serious exposure to side wind at speeds above 70-80 km/h, which can knock you around pretty bad.
So, having had these experiences, I chose not to use it for trips outside the city.
Otherwise, again, awesome scooter, I couldn't have gotten a better deal for this money.

Hi Alex, greetings from a happy HD300-driver!
I have four scooters, 300, 350 and 400cc, but the HD is my favorite of all of them. OK, the front brake is a little bit weak. But the weight is not so hight, it have a very comfortable seat and handlebar position and very straight/stable and comfortable suspension. And the mirrors are realy good!

Will Sym keep making this model in 2025? Was it presented in EICMA 2024? Its a very good scooter, i own it from recently and i can only say words of praise for it. Only problem that i see with it is that it is easily affected by the wind, both front wind (which is solvable) and side winds that are pushing me left and right within my lane on motorways and highways, so its not a perfect touring option, but in the city, its a perfect commuter, absolutly perfect and i am very satisfied with it. I think better tires would be a good upgrade but for now factory ones do a decent job.
I am asking about manufacturing continuation because its so good i am allready thinking of buying another one (lol). Great ratio of value for money and i think 300cc is enough for the city and out of it, no more, no less. SYM please continue making this amazing bike, i am in love with it!
