my son and I cycled all the way to The Five Sisters of Kintail and then on to Skye. we stayed at teh Glen Affric YHA.. it was hard and we had sleet and sunshine in August and at one point my pannier broke, was eaten by midges as I tried to fix it.. luckily there was a metal coathanger at the B and B that night and I used that.. one of the best days cycling..
The trips to remember :-) We were lucky we had a break in the weather. On the way home the weather at Perth was like we on a different world compared to the morning.
@@ferpheus Hi I was on my own and there are two gates you have to get through . the first one is near Affric Lodge and is 10 ft high .I did not go clockwise and get stuck at the gate and have to retrace my steps. so i went anticlockwise. and its lovely single track then rough landrover track. The gates were passable kissing gates tight but ok. the trail is alot higher and the views are fantastic. the place is amazing please go and explore.
