The growth is phenomenal. Once upon of time he was not very open in interviews. Very guarded and standoffish. While I agree with protecting your peace but you could tell there was a different spirit he was dealing with back then rather than now and it’s a blessing to see him being better mentally, physically and spiritually.

I cried my first time hearing one day
As someone who found yoga and got off heroin and meth with yoga and meditation, it is amazing to hear him speak on trauma. He is so accurate and it really shows through his energy. I used to listen to him while I sold heroin to anyone and everyone, today is 5 years out no charges. Surreal to hear this today.

So I been rapping for a couple years now I started writing in prison down in Florida. Now I’m from Wyoming just turned 25 and I feel what gates says in my soul. More than that my ears hear less than what my soul understands when he speaks. Godly in his walk and I damn near idolize him. I been a man of big principle and stood 10 the whole time. I’ve done 88 months incarcerated out of 25 years. Not straight through the longest bid I did was 31 months and no bragging that time in my life I felt more emotions and learned more knowledge I do my best to apply in my life. I’m having a hard time following my dreams to make music. I can write better lyrics than I hear on the radio or half the music I hear in general. I feel like I need help but gates reminds me I only need myself and god to do what I dream. I love u kevin gates, u made me a better man in every way.
